Diablo 2 No CD Crack
 

Does anyone know where to get a Diablo 2 no cd crack v1.09d or lower that doesnt need the Lord of estruction expansion to play? I tried downloading the ones from mega games but there is nothing to extract and all I get is a blank exe application for all their cracks. Thanks.

Seems you should be able to buy a copy of LOD pretty cheap. The expansion is well worth it, I didnt play much Diablo II until I got the expansion.

MegaGames .zip files might be empty because you are using the save file as... or are using a Download Manager. Disable your download manager and then try.

Don't bump ! It's considered EXTREMELY unpolite. As for your problem, are you using winrar 3.0 or LATER ? using winrar 2.90 or lower can give you the kind of symptoms you describe. Further more, exactly what do you mean with 'blank exe'. Is it filled with zeros ?

Sorry, im using winrar 3.0 i think and by what i mean that there is nothing there the icon for diablo 2 is blank no picture all it says is the blizzard exe thing.

The last few cracks for Diablo 2 were nocd LOADERS. This means you extract it in the D2 directory and run it. It will NOT replace any blizzard files, instead it will load the original executable in memory, patch a few bytes in memory and start it. Because this exe was totally made by a cracker, there often is no icon included, hence the blank icon.

I have a better question, is there one that works at all for Diablo II: Lord of Destruction v1.09D? The only NO-CD patches I find seem more for online play and still asks for the CD anyway... :rolleyes:

If anyone knows which Patch is required for single player, please let me know. :)

Sorry for the bump, just thought I'd give this another chance.

I did fine one for v1.09 from Fairlight, but it asks for the CD still. Kind of confused since I am new to this for the most part.

Anyone have a way to find more patches from Fairlight (a website perhaps) or at least a tutorial as to how to make a back-up CD-R I can use instead? Don't like using the CDs for other than installation if it can be helped... ;)

BTW, I am using v1.09D for the LOD expansion. Not sure if that makes any difference though. That, and need just a crack for the off-line game. Only interested in single player... :D

you have to copy certain directories to the hard drive to not need the cd, even with a no cd crack.

Of course, I did a full installation. From what I see it should work. The only thing is, I haven't found one for the exact version I am using...

EDIT: Oh well, I did find ones listed as being what I needed but could never get the stuff to work, even those listed as pure NO-CD patches. Here's hoping when the 1.10 patch comes out someone will make sure to do it right this time around. ;)

In the meantime, I just burnt an exact copy of the LOD CD and found a crack that allows me to use it to run the game. Really wanted a NO-CD patch, but this will at least save the original from undue harm... :D
