BlackHawk Down no cd
 

Ok I have tried the two no-cd patches on GCW for the newest version 1.1.0.10 and followed the instructions exactly and the game runs but when menu comes up single and multiplayer are unhighlighted basically disabled... Any help would be appreciated. :confused:

If you use the search button and i remember correctly i think this had allready been discused ;)

Same problem. Patch from IMMERSION does not work. I've even gone as far as to eliminate a possible operating system glitch. Both WIN98 and XP started up with the SINGLE PLAYER and MULTIPLAYER un-highlighted and unable to play.:mad:

Wasn't you guys discussing burning a backup copy? Cause I really need a no cd patch ... cause I put it on my server I pay for montly but see I don't have access to put cd in since its like 500 miles from me lol so I need a no cd patch.

@ Snoper. Carefull what you say in here, some people dont take to kindly to things like A word of advice = read the rules which will give you a strick code of conduct :D .
And yes we were talking about backed up copy (my mistake)
I would of asked if you still had the same probs after updateing the game and using the original cd so we could of gone through a elimination process. I am unable to offer anymore help sorry.

If you have already upgraded the game online to version 1.1.0.10 your currently out of luck. The 1.0 version No-Cd works just fine if you haven't already upgraded. Be patient (I know, easier said than done), these guys are good and I'm sure a revised No-CD patch will be out soon.

Yea I installed it to 2 dir on the server .. one to try the patches on incase something went wrong but my main dir is still there and has the old version and no cd patch and works fine its just I can't play on my server :( since I updated on my game

i had the same problem you need to make sure the cd is in the cdrom drive.. the immersion version still needs a cd to play it. put the cd in the drive and it work fine.:)

Maybe because it WASN'T called a nocd ? Here is a GCW mirror, and both are described as fixed exe's NOT nocd's.

Well then it shouldn't say no cd instructions in the info now should it ... look again and you will see what i mean

Are we talking about the same things here ? On the page I linked, there's a fixed update and a fixed exe for 1.1.0.10 under the index, and in both texts I see nothing about a nocd. Underneath those two cracks, there are two nocd's for 1.0 and a couple of trainers, also clearly labelled. Are those what you mean ? I can't find anything wrong with the page, but then I'm tired and maybe I'm seeing double or something. So could you please tell me exactly where the descriptions or anything else on that page are wrong, so it can be fixed.

Edit : Or are you talking about some info file included in the archives ?

Anyone with a working nocd fix for the 1.10 version ???
Installed the original nocd patch over the 1.10 version,the game is running fine now !!!

Same problem, unhighlighted SIngle and Multi---> i was on the last mission to. I suppose ill just hold out and wait. I would reinstall but I might lose my saved games.. where can I find my BHD Saved games ive been searching in my C:/Games/Black Hawk Down where the main exe's are but i find nothing.

I don't have BHD so just guessing: For your save games have a look into your "my documents" folder.

Yes it is difficult to find save files for this game as there no folders in the installed directory... I'm guessing its the dfvplr.sav file though in C:\Program Files\NovaLogic\Delta Force Black Hawk Down.

Install the original nocd patch over the 1.10 version,the game is running like before (version is back to 1.0)

How is the nocd coming for the new update?

Nope. The dfvplr.sav is your key bindings and usernames. the files that are your save games are in the BHD root folder and have the .bmx extensions.

has the fact that theres not a working nocd crack for v1.1 been brought to the attention to the gentlemen who cracks the games???

Sure. But if you cannot await it or if you are not satisfied with the work, start cracking yourself then. I am sick and tired of people coming here, complaining about a non working crack and then claim for a working one immediately, as if it was their given right.

OK, I'll repeat myself. Don't take it personal. You were just the 1000th newbie here with the same kind of question, i.e. a USELESS one, taking up valuable board space. If one person does this, it's no biggie, but on some days every third question is a waste of space. Monty has kept quiet for 999 times, but you're the lucky 1000th one and you won a VIP treatment by Monty. Ok ? Just don't take it too personal.

Since the old no-cd wasn't done by us, I put one up that was done by us. I looked through gimps lines of code and noticed he had a few things that didn't need to be on there making the exe lag a little...should be fixed now.

Okay, let's face it. It wasn't meant personal, justy that ONE question too much, so wrong time, wrong place, but nothing personal. I know it isn't that easy to be a newbie, BUT reading stickies, reading the rules and using the search button is always a good start and the board would be half of its size. Maybe you did all that, maybe it was your style of asking or justy the fact, that it was the (infinite number here:D) No of request by a newbie. Nothing personal, as I already said.
Always here to help people with REAL probs. ( I don't have a problem with non-working cracks. As i own the originals, I can wait until a working one exists. Some cannot wait....not my prob!).
