Remember Folks its a Fixed Exe. Not a NoCD Crack!

Then what is the difference between a fixed exe and a nocd crack?:confused:

A fixed exe lets you play with a backup-cd, A NoCD lets you play without the CD...

OK, but I burned and installed Big Mutha Truckers, replaced bmt.exe with your fixed bmt.exe and tried to play, the program still asks for the BMT game cd. Explanation?

why do u have a fixed exe ?
the game is only protetced with cd-checks,
so a fixed exe cannot be made :confused:
(only for securom, safedisc, starforce, vob or laserlock)

Yes, it is the THXIso 'crack'. I assumed it was a Fixed Exe. Its funny to see GCW hosting an original exe :p
Anyways... I will probably (read: if I can be bothered) send CLASS's exe into GCW tonight.

Are the protection so good that nobody can't done NoCD patch for that? Game is out almost 2 weeks now...
When installing it says Full install but leave some media(intro, outro movies and some sound files to CD) maybe that's the problem?

There must be nocd version out because NFORCE.NL site says that Rip verison exist then must be nocd version of exe is exist.

yes a rip version is out from CLASS.

OK, it has been sent... Dont blame me if it dont work right with the retail. Havent tested it :p

Tried the NoCD on the FULL version, nope, it don't work. The screen blinks and goes back to desktop.

Not complaining, just informing.

Rayder, Have you tried copying any movies from the cd to your installed directory?

PTR, try turning the volume up on your PC :p

Seriously though.... have you copied all media (sounds & movies) from the cd to the hard drive? You sure, that in the in-game options, that the sound settings are set to full (or to your own tastes)?
Perhaps it is not possible to make an 'official' NoCD crack for this game, the gimps have not made one and cdkiller tried.

You could just make an image to your hard drive, and then play the game from that. Wait for Rincewind to post the exact procedure, or search for his posts. ;)

Everything you said have I done, I copied all the media into the program folder and even some *.hdr files from the .cab file into the "media" and "data" folder, I restarted the game, but still no sound...

I have a Creative Live! 5.1 Digital Soundcard...

What the hell, search for my posts. Numbering 1140 and counting, and probably half of them either recommend Daemon Tools/Alcohol120% or explain how they work. I'm feeling lazy today so use the search button, or wait for my full explanation tomorrow when I'm feeling bored again :D

DOH!!! That was the trick. Boy do I feel stupid. :rolleyes: I just copied the whole "media" folder to the harddrive and that made it work. I shoulda known to do that, ugg! Thanks BountyWarrior.

EDIT: I also noticed that you will have to manually create a shortcut to the bmt.exe file for it to work. The one in the start menu won't work for some reason. Weird but true!!

Theres me thinking I had messed up twice with this game.....:mad: What with that 'Fixed-Exe' and the problems with the CLASS' (not mine) exe.
Thats a wierd thing with the shortcut though..:

You tell in your post from 2003-03-27, BIG MUTHA TRUCKERS is only protected with CD-Check. My (german) version of it is protected with Safedisc2 !!!
I think its Safedisc 2.8x ...
