where is the least expensive place to get a messiah 2? Other than from people on this board!! nothing against anyone. just would like more choices.

This sounds an awful lot like a guy I was talking to last night. He wouldn't buy from charlie or dust simply because they don't have a website and he doesn't trust anybody that doesn't have a website.:rolleyes: I tried to convince him to buy from charlie or dust and that they are safer to buy from than any website, but it was a no go.

Thanks for the replies but as i said i have nothing against anybody. i just want a few options. and the point of asking has always invoked the same reply time and time again (see charlie). well i have heard this a thousand times and i just simply ask for any other choices but still no-one can even reply to my simple request without doing the complete opposite of what i'm asking.

Yeah but you you don't even need to give them a credit card #. It is all done through a payapl account and tons of people have raved about them and I have never heard one negative thing about them.

What more do u want man - everybody has good words 4 Charlie (except me cos he lives near France :D )

If you are so determined not to deal with him, I can buy one from him, add 15% and then sell it on to you!

To everyone,

Just to let you know that I got my M2 from charlie and very happy with it, fast shipping considering he is from U.K. and I am in U.S. just took 5 working days. I installed my M2 and had problem 2 days ago( due to my installation)but then charlie is there to help me, so now I am a happy camper again
:D . I am planning to install my friends ps2 and will definitely buy from charlie again.....

Thanks all who replied to the question! It was a harmless question that constantly starts a forum bashing. It doesn't matter why I asked, and no-ones opinions are going to force me to buy from a particular vendor or not. I don't need a (parent) telling me I'm making the wrong decision, I have one already. I'm in titled to my own opinions if its the right ones or not. But I cant even make an comparitive opinion if I don't have anything to compare it to. I love reading this forum and I do believe that charlie or dust would be the one to ask but I'm just browsing!

Someone needs to change the forum rules to ad: If you're not buying a Messiah 2 from CHARLIE or DUST do not ask for alternative places to purchase messiah 2 chips!

You were given a couple of different places to purchase the Messiah 2 from....

I supplied you with one place and another member supplied you with another place.....

Why can't you compare....????

Charlie doesn't deal with sh*tty mods like the no solder.

The messiah and the apple are awesome mods. If you read charlie's verdict they work 100% of the time and they are no-swap chips. A step below the messiah 2.

The no-solder chip is not actually even a mod, it just forces the tray out without the ps2 knowing. Kinda a fancy knife swap if you ask me. And they don't work 100% of the time. Do your research before posting a reply like that.

And BTW I have experienced the no-solder chip, the apple and the messiah 2. No swap vs. swap....No comparison. :D

If the Apple was a sh*tty mod I wouldn't have one. Never had a single problem with it. I consider it to be the #2 chip behind the Messaih 2.

Well, I'm glad your happy...really I am, I am just happy with my apple and messiah 2. I guess they make chips for everybodys liking. Some day you might want to save up the extra money and get a no swap chip. I did and I found less hassle and I would never go back again.
