Pioneer DVR-105 Cheap

Anyone looking to get a dvd burner in the uk?

Komplett are doing the Pioneer DVR-105 for £148.94 + VAT.
So thats £175.00 inc VAT.

They say they have 100+ on the website so be quick.

Now I need to find somewhere that sells Traxdata, anyone know any place where they are in stock?

I knew about them but they don't have any in stock, will check back tomorrow to see if they have had any in.

Anyone ordered from this site before?

I am in need of a dvd writer now as i have my money back for that Archos one. I have tried loads of shops round here to try and get them and no one can even get hold of any dvd writers.

So has anyone ordered from these people before?

Are they good?

Hull_chipper 28-01-2003 06:40

I've never used komplett (tho the site looks ok) but I guarantee you won't find anybody better than blankdiscshop.

Try referring them to the komplett price & see if they price match cos they're normally the cheapest for everything else!

Chris174 28-01-2003 06:45

Thanks, do they do a price match?

Hull_chipper 28-01-2003 06:54

nowt 2 lose by askin m8

Chris174 28-01-2003 06:56

Just e mailed them and asked about it.
How long does it take them to get it to you?

Hull_chipper 28-01-2003 07:01

order online b4 2pm & it will arrive next day WITHOUT FAIL!

Chris174 28-01-2003 07:04

Ahh well, looks like im out for getting it tomoz then.

BTW are they easy to fit?
You see i have this stupid gigabyte mother board with something called Raid. And when i got XP i had to get rid of my CD Rom drive so i could put the CD Writer and the Hard Drive onto IDE.

Anyone got it installed on raid?

Hull_chipper 28-01-2003 07:17

Yes they are easy, first option is leave all ur existing cables in place & just swap it out for ur CDRW drive.

Also check out the double headed IDE cable found here http://www.blankdiscshop.co.uk/acata..._Console_.html (I have one & it is well worth the £1.99) which will allow you to use it in conjuntion with ur existing drive.

Chris174 28-01-2003 07:21

I don't want to take out my CDRW drive. We have them double headed IDE Cables in the PC now. Just not being used i don't think.

So all i would have to do is screw the drive in set jumpers and connect that second IDE connecter to it?

Hull_chipper 28-01-2003 07:29

Don't forget a power cable as well of course (you should have them spare too), apart from that yes, it's as simple as plugging in ur kettle!

Don't worry about the jumpers m8 - just phone ur sipplier & accuse them of selling you a dud! (I did pmsl) :D

Chris174 28-01-2003 07:35

Why do that? Wouldn't it be easier to set jumpers for it?

Hull_chipper 28-01-2003 07:42

 most certainly is m8 lol

Chris174 28-01-2003 07:47

Well im ordering one from them now.

Just going to ring my card details through to them.

Chris174 28-01-2003 08:06

Just phoned my card details through and he said i should get it by thursday.

Can't wait for thursday now. And i have to go to school as well! :(

Hull_chipper 28-01-2003 08:08

Did they price match?

Chris174 28-01-2003 08:12

Nope, said they couldn't do that or something.

Well i can't wait till thursday now..... Just if i can't fit it and make it work on thursday i won't be happy cos i'll have to get my uncle to come have a look.

It cost me £210 in total that's with the 1 to 2 days delivery on.
