Will Recordnow Max also copy movie DVD's like it copys DVD PS2 games. Are there any that wont copy.

Also is the Cendyne a good DVD writer. I heard it was the same as the pioneer A04.

One more question, how can you tell what mod chip you have.
I can boot DVD-R games but have no trouble with anything else.

Yes dvdxcopy is the best. It does everything for you. What boot procedure do you use for your PS2? Check here and see if you can find your boot method you use.

What I meant to say is that I CAN'T boot DVD-R games. I have tried all the tricks. It is driving me crazy. I was thinking about getting a no solder mod chip and was wondering if I can put this in with my current mod chip installed.

what chip are you using and what version ps2 do u have

I had someone chip it for me over a year ago so I am not sure what chip it is. Is there a way to find out what chip I have.
I think it is a version 4 PS2 but not sure.

It is driving me crazy that I can't boot DVD-R games.

Also do you know where I can get a trial version of DVDXCOPY.
Is the Cendyne DVD-RW a good writer?

Cendyne makes a excellent dvd writer... They have a newer one that is identical to the A05 also.... They are a excellent choice and you can get them for a great price.....

yep your rite accourding to the dvdxcopy faq page they DO NOT have a demo version of this software. you know what that means dude.

Is it possible they made a mod chip that will not play DVD-R games. I have tried all the boot methods and none of them work. My PS2 has been working on all other backups for over a year.

I need HELP...

The neokey doesn't boot dvd-r but you would know if you had one of these cause it is an external mod.

What else can I try. I tried the method where you hold the reset and also the browser method.

Any ideas.
