Only in menu, it shows that is a demo, but thet doesn't

the only thng is, that in menu screen, on he right bottom, it shows version number and (demo).

This seems like a very unlikely mistake to make. Is the demo version number the same as the retail version number ?

am, the version of the demo is : 1.28

i think it´s the same because the demo was released at the same day like the full game in germany.

Same thing with the retail release of UT2003. You could replace the original exe with the demo exe(Itself being a NoCD 'crack').

Das spiel läuft so zwar... :)
aber leider kann man keine alten Savegames laden. :(
(Hatte das Spiel mal ausgeliehen)

how i can install the Game from a Backupcopy????


When i install from the Third CD from my backup, it says this is not the Original Disc and the Insatllation will be deleted.

Does anybody know how long you can play the game with the Gothic2 Demo .exe???? Or how long are you allowed to play in the Demo???? It would be very useful if someone could post that in here because then I could check if it really works!

Too bad the demo .exe only allows you to play in the New World and not in the Mines, for example.

It's useless - esepcially as Savegames are incompatible with the full version, I think.

Is that correct???
 

So,
is somebody here who can confirm that it is not possible to go into the mines (Minevalley) if you crack the original exe with the one of the demo????? And what if it is correct what shall we do then??? I think it is not true since lots of people have said that it is possible to play the game as if it were the original version!

If somebody has more detailed information, pleas post it into this forum!

Also Leute, gibt es hier jemanden, der das bestätigen kann??? Ich meine, dass es nicht möglich ist in die Minen oder das Minental zu gehen, wenn man das Game mit der Demo.exe gecrackt hat?????? Und wenn es stimmt, was sollen wir machen, hat jemand ne Idee??? Ich meinerseits glaube, dass das nicht stimmt, weil hier viele gesagt haben, sie können das Game vollständig spielen!!

SO, für alle, die nicht mit der Demo.exe spielen wollen :
- Ladet euch die neue Version von Gamejack 2 runter (www.gamejack.org)
-Macht ein Image von der """ORGINAL""" cd3 mit den allen Sicherheitseinstellungen (DPM...)
-Dann das Image laden und Spielen.

Has anyone tested wether this also works on aquanox 2? And if so has anybody a link to the demo.exe?
I've only a slow connection so 227MB for the Demo are a very BIG peace to download.

Es geht wohl, die Savegames lassen sich übernehmen!!! Man muss die Savegames bevor man die Gothic Demo .exe drüberkopiert ausschneiden, und dann nachdem man die .exe ersetzt hat einfach wieder ins Savegame Verzeichniss reinkopieren! Dann fröhlich weiterspielen!

leider wusste ich das nicht und habe erst die .exe durch die von der Demo ersetzt, dann das spiel gestartet. In der Liste sind auch jeweils die Bilder der Savegames zu sehen, nur kann man sie nicht laden. Drückt man Enter kommt man wieder ins Hauptmenü :(

So was passiert!! Es ist sowieso fraglich, ob diese DEMO.EXE wirklich das wahre ist, da man anscheinend nicht ins Minental kommt!!!! Deshalb hab ich extra nen megapost verfasst, das ma einer hier reinpostet, wie weit er mit der Demo.exe bereits gekommen ist!!! Aber das macht wiedermal keiner, weil alle möglichen Leute hier ihren müll von wegen mit GameJack funst das reinposten müssen!!!
Deshalb ma ein guter Tipp!!!!

BEVOR IHR HIER WAS REINPOSTET, SCHAUT MA IN DEN ANDEREN THREADS, OB DA NICH SCHON WAS DRINSTEHT!!!!!

Original Savegames funktionieren nicht: |
| Damit etwaige savegames auch nach unserem "update" funktionieren, muss |
| man in allen Unterordnern des SAVES-Verzeichnisses die SAVEINFO.SAV |
| in SAVEINF.SAV umbenennen - und schon kann man wieder weiterzocken.

also bei mir klappt das nicht, der verreckt dann immer im menü

Von Demo nach Original:

saveinf.sav --> saveinfo.sav


Wenn es dann net tut!!! Naja.....kann ich auch nicht helfen!

Noch was, mit der Demo kommt man wirklich nicht ins Minental, ich habs getested!!!! Das mit dem GameJack funst bei mir jetzt auch!!!!
Vielleicht kann jemand von denen, bei denen es funst ma die image datei ins internet stellen, ist dann halt 500 irgendwas MB groß, aber dann tuts!
