The Sims: Deluxe Edition
 

Hello,

I can't find a No-CD Crack for this game at all.. I used the unsafedisc analyser and it shows this Version/Release:v2.72.000
CRC:c04b8551

I'm guessing that's the safedisc version.. Any versions of unsafedisc out there that does anything about it? Plz leave a link for it and a link for a No-CD crack for the game if anyone has them. thx

No public unwrapping tool is avaliable for that version.
Have you looked in the usual places for cracks (See sticky topic) like GCW and Megagames.

I was wondering if you could use the unleashed nocd.exe as I thought the deluxe contains the unleashed version. I have searched everywhere for 2 weeks without any positive results either.

I tryed the unleashed no-cd patch and it doesn't work. I looked everywhere for a patch, google, yahoo, altavista, astalavista.com and all thosesites on the sticky post, and there was nothing. I tryed all the cd tricks with DT, CDClone, Alk 120% etc etc, and nothing either.

I just might buy a second copy. 39$ u.s. at walmart.

What expansion packs are in the deluxe version ? Try a nocd for the latest expansion pack that's in deluxe.

I have seen enough requests for it from all over the world. I would think that would stir up some of the great minds.

Yes, but I'm figuring that's ALL they changed, and because the executable of the last applied expansion pack is always used, this COULD work. Of course if it doesn't, there's always the Clonecd/Daemon Tools combo. Still works for me even for the latest safedisc versions.

I tryed the CloneCD and Daemon Tool combo and it did'nt work for the safedisc 2.72.000... Unless there's a way that I didn't do it. If anyone could do a little guide for me on how to exactly do this plz?

Well, it should work this way :

1) Find out which cd is needed by the game and contains the copy protection
2) Make an image to the hard disk with daemon tools.
Try selecting "Game cd", if that doesn't work you might use ClonyXXl and generate a profile for CloneCD
3) Open that image with daemon tools latest version.

This works for me for at least battlefield1942, which is safedisc 2.80x

I don't need to switch on safedisc emulation, but you could try that if the game still refuses to work.

Also don't forget that many protections check the ATIP, so use an utility to hide that or don't use the cd in a cdwriter. Don't forget that Daemon Tools makes an extra cd drive letter, if you want to use it, most games need to be reinstalled from that extra virtual drive.

ClonyXXL IS ALL IN GERMAN! NO!!!! I can't understand a word it says....

Here is the english version. Some bits are still in german but you should be able to use it. And have you tried the "game cd" profile first in CloneCD ? That one worked perfectly for me, never had to use ClonyXXL. And don't forget to get the latest Daemon Tools version here.

I got the English version now, thx.. I got Daemon Tools 3.26...

I used the clonecd game cd option also and it was a no go...

So i'll use the option that this clony gives me.. Write the image to the HD right and then mount it on the daemon tools and play from that?

I used the Clony settings for CloneCd and wrote the image to my HD and used Daemon Tools to play the image and it didn't work. Guess this Safedisc 2.72.000 is a real bitch to get past.

Well, I'm stumped. It works for me on battlefield1942 but that's not a solution for you. Only thing I can think of is trying out Alcohol 120%, it's even better than Daemon Tools in some aspects.

I tryed that program out also... But I might be using it wrong.

I guess this game just hates me so much...

I made a successful backup using the latest ver of alc120% and I made it from an image that was still in my temp file folder created weeks ago from an older cdclone prog that could not do the copy.
And to top it off my burner thast I used was just a a plain old QPS without efm. I used the safedisk 2 settings to burn.

Oh, I believe you :D I'm surprised Kunta has so many problems with it. Kunta : have you tried enabling safedisc 2 emulation in daemon tools ? Should not be necessary, but perhaps it works for you.

Sigh... Lucky guy.. I did turn the daemon tools safedisc option on. 8(

Any chance of sending me a copy of whatever you got that fixed the problem or telling how to exactly to do it? I got the alk 120%, Daemon toolz and whatever else I need to do this. thx

It did.. But the CD broke when I accidently stepped on it.. All I got is a copy of it.

I'm bumping this again cause it is a problem for alot of people out there.

I of course can't really check whether you really broke your cd. However, that doesn't take away the fact that you could have mentioned sooner that you didn't have the original anymore. The whole daemon tools/clonecd idea can only work with an original or near 1:1 copy, no wonder that you didn't succeed. A crack is your only way out now, so let's try this. Could you please try the Sims Living Large crack and tell me if it works. It could work, because Deluxe only contains the original + living large, but there's a very real chance it won't and then you can only try contacting the publisher for a replacement. Try the crack and tell me if it works. If it doesn't, I certainly hope you still got your manual and/or the pieces of the cd since EA will probably demand some proof of purchase.

I tryed the exe and the unleashed exe and it don't work. I threw the CD parts away already cause I know EA won't give you a new copy if you stepped oin it. hehe

I too looked all over the place yet I found nothing, I wasted 3 cd-r's trying to figure out how to burn it with the protection, I EVEN found all the Hidden protection files STILL NOTHING, How come no one made a No-Cd crack for this game, IT WOULD BE NICE if some one can do it cause lots and tons of people want it.:eek:

The sad thing is, I even got the damn cd too work! I burned it from a Clonecd and burned a Image Also from my Temp file, THE BAD thing is! That the Auto Start started up and I was happy and pressed Play sims it said Not a Win32 execuable, What kinda messed up joke was that? First I'm happy and mad that it wont start it just stays at the screen that says The sims Dexluxe Edition! =\ It stinks

If you had bothered to read the posts in this thread, you would have found out that there IS no nocd for this game. You would also have found a general method to play without the cd, using Daemon Tools/CloneCD. I'm not going to spend anymore energy in this thread if people don't even read my posts.
