Well, I just installed The Sims Unleashed Patch, and I was wondering does anyone here have the no cd v1.7.1 for it?

The game kicks me back to the desktop when I want to go downtown, after I use the crack. Weird...

Backup your original .exe before using the crack. Just a reminder :rolleyes:

As a rule of thumb ALWAYS backup your original .exe before copying a NoCD/Fixed.exe. Without the original you will not be able to update your installed game when new patches come out since all of them verify the original file.

The easiest method is to rename the original .exe (ex: TheSims.exe to TheSims original.exe)

Hah...lucky me I have a backup copy of v1.0 and v1.7 .exe of the game. The update only does changes on the .exe, so I'm still hot ;)

1.7 NoCD crack does indeed crash other expansion packs...

However, can be copied succesfully with the newest version of Blindread & Write.

Yes this crapy crack crashes as soon as I change to vacation screen and back or downtown...
So I changed it back to the nocd I used before the patch,
cause the patch only changed the exe right? And now it works perfect again, except the bugs that's fixed in the patch ofcourse.

Yes... the DEVIANCE crack doesn't work with DownTown & Vacation...

I guess they will release a *Repack* soon :)

Since SimsUnleashed 1.71 is protected with Safedisk 2.80.010, i was wondering if you could check this, since the DEVIANCE release doesn't work properly...

It worked for me (tested with all expansions) but in case there's a problem let me know and i'll remove it... :cool:

I tried bool's patch too and it seems to work better but when i start up the game and goes to the vacation screen and then back to the neighboorhood screen it will sometimes crash... I got all of the expansions installed, i will reinstall it all later today to see if it helps.

We run the game with this NoCD for about 3 hours on two different machines with all expansions installed and hundreads of third party objects and skins (someone around here is psychotic with the Sims...) and we had not even a single crash!

Let me know if you have any problems after re-installing...
