No-CD for Hitman 2 1.01
 

Is there such thing? The patch was released over four days ago, and still no crack anywhere. What is going on?

Maybe the groups dont care for Hitman?? :eek:

it took the groups about a week to crack the securom protection..

Well, i hope this 1.01 no-cd patch comes quick, because the 1.01 hitman 2 update patch fixes some major bugs in the game!
And my cd-rom makes an awful lot of noise with the hitman 2 cd in it..............

well..

play the 1.0 version without a cd and wait for a crack for version 1.01 to come out -> and then install the 1.01 patch :D

That's why i don't play 1.0 :D
But doesn't matter........i think a few more days and the 1.01 no-cd will be on gamecopyworld....... :confused:

ya just stay with the 1.00 version... it's not as though this is a multiplayer game where if its not updated you can't play...
Besides the patch is only 2.5 megs so i cant see how it's fixing that much. Bout the only thing i notice is that my graphic settings don't stay when i get back to the game...no big whoop i just reset my aa settings....

there are some serious crash bugs the patch fixes(hopefully).

its close to unplayable with how often it crashes on my system.

Anyone found the v1.01 no-cd yet and could enlighten me where to get it from?

Thank's to some help from the guys on this forum and blind write I managed to get a working cd copy of the game.

It's not strictly a 1:1 copy but it does work with the 1.01 patch.

Admittedly a crack would be handy coz it takes forever to authenticate the "cloned" cd (anyone know why?). Also I don't think my copy will hold out for long, and you can only make copies from the original (so buy the game!).

It's not the easiest copy to make but read the notes provided by our host and get blindwrite.

I'm sure a crack will be forthcoming soon, but strictly speaking, copying is the only legal way to do it..

YA REALLY...HEY someone should send the developer an email telling them just how mad we are a nocd isn't out already for th new patch hehe...that'd go over like a fart in church hey lol

Make it yourself then. No point in complaining. After the problems over the Hitman 2 retail release, u think many groups are gonna touch the updates/patches?

the point in complaining is to keep it near the fron of the forum, so that if anyone else wants it they can post here and when it does come out it will show up here.

Iwant the fixed exe/no CD. I love those things. I own way to many games (I'm typically playing 4 or 5 at a time) to want to bother shoving discs in for each game every time. Not like its the end of the world or anything (I can handle sticking in my disc for Hitman 2, for the time being) but it sure is nice to not have to find it every time.:)

to reply to OrEoZ, yeah my hitman cd is a pain to, it takes ages to authenicate it (sometimes upto 1 min) surely this cant be right for an original cd? I'm wondering whether this new securom uses special media which doesn't last long ( same problems with my memorex cdrw, MSI CDRW & LG DVD drive. Is anyone else finding this?

So please someone let us know if they've cracked it (I'd do it my self but I can only code in Pascal!!!)...

i think the developers of hitman2 are doing right, beacuse everyone knows that almost everybody here have the pirated cd, not me. SO, makin hitman2 almost uncopiable it is an excellent choice, and almost UNCRACKEABLE too. i support those guys, i think they did correct. the game is excelent, why not go and buy it?

Posts like the one above make me glad a group is not releasing a crack for the update.

While I agree that matof is behaving like a complete jerk and baby, that shouldn't have any effect on whether or not a crack for the update comes out. After all, if that could prevent cracks for updates, matof and morons like him would be hired by the publishers as the latest copy protection :D

i only said that i think the creators of hitman2 deserve earning money for this excelent game.
BUT it would be excelent if a group cracks it, that will only make the creators of the game release a new important patch almost uncrackeable.

why i wanna play the game without putting it in my drive?, beacuse the game takes 1 min to load. so I want a crack for it.
you would say that i am contradicting, but the thing is, this will only push the creators to make an excellent patch that fixes every issue that people have concerning about READING the cd.

i still think that a lot of people have the pirated cd, if not, try and see that half of the topics closed are beacuse of someone talkin about the pirated version.
or maybe better, try to think HOW MANY people downloaded hitman2 from sharereactor,kazaa, and others. or copied the cd. i dont know, think, maybe more people have the pirated version than the original.

why are u so agrresive? huh? i think the only way to protect cds from being pirated is protecting them from copy, if u want to backup them, do it whit blindware, clonecd,alcohol adn those.
