Unfortunatelly it doesn't work for me....I did everything right but it kicks me back to desktop. When I run the Razor's fixed exe it works perfectly, but I neet the cd. Any advice?

maybe you have to copy some files from cd3 to your hard drive.

Yes I can read and I did everything required ... I'm using WinXP if that matters...

Put this patch in the same directory and run it to
change the fixed exe in a nocd exe. If you want to see the movies,
you also need to copy all files in the disc3\static subdirecory on
cd3, to the Run\static subdirectory under your installation directory.

Ahum, I just did a complete reinstall and now it's happening to me too :D How embarrassing ;) Anyway, I'm busy testing things out. A note : it did work ONCE, when I had put all graphic options off and put the resolution on 640x480. Very weird. My previous install worked flawlessly with the nocd, but now that I've reinstalled, including the static\ files, it doesn't seem to really work anymore ? I'm trying to find out what's causing the problems, and why it stopped working after the reinstall. In the meantime, you can all use the CloneCd + Daemon Tools method to play without the cd.

Well, like I said it worked flawlessly on my old installation, but now that I've reinstalled it worked only once. I still think the problem lies somewhere in the installation, I'm going to test a few other things to see if I can determine where it goes wrong.

it kicks me back to the desktop when i try and launch it just like everyone else

Update : I've been trying a few things, still nothing. I'm thinking I forgot to copy a file to the hard disk but I haven't found out which one. As it is, the patch works for some people (I've got 5 replies that say it's working fine and a bit more saying that it doesn't ;) ),
but not for others. I continue testing and I'm pretty sure that I'll find it, since it DID work for me before my reinstall. Have faith, as soon as I find the problem I'll tell about it in this thread.

i had found something wrong after fresh reinstallation of this game and done the patch. When i tried ro run the game, it would jumped to my desktop.My curent O/S is WinXP PRO SP1.

I think i got the same problem with some of u here...:)

Not really, I've tried some other stuff, but experimenting with the files present on the hard disk means regularly reinstalling the three discs and that takes time. It works for some people, not for a lot of others. It worked for ME, but I foolishly reinstalled and now it doesn't even work for me <sniff> :( But the good news is that this means that there IS a solution, because it both worked once for me, and I have now the same symptoms as the rest. Tomorrow I'm going to try again, I still have some ideas.

In the meantime, don't forget that you can also play without the cd if you make a Clonecd image of disc 3 and mount that using daemon tools. It's not so elegant as a nocd of course and takes up 700Mb more hard disk space, but one big advantage is that that will work NOW, and another is that with the next hotfix you don't need any change or new crack, daemon tools emulation will work with any official crack applied. So if you hate having the cd in the drive, try this while I try to find out why the patch is working randomly. You can find the patch here, it's the Bool's Eye patch. If you've already got the razor 1911 1.32 fixed exe, you only need to download a small 1kb patch file for that. There's also a new crack from softbeard, you may want to try that out, I will too tomorrow. When I have some time <sigh>

Ok...the no cd .exe works, but is it possible to include the movies also? coz the .exe doesn't play the movies even after I've copied the movie files into the game's folder.

Warlock - how'd you get it to work with the movies? I've got to near the end but there is a cut scene (i think) that stops me from continueing on.
