Need Info
Hey BG (or charlie) I'm still a little mixed up right now. Even though you told me if I have a electrical warning at the bottom of my PS2 it's a v4(which it does), I searched around the forum and in some post it said if the PS2 has 10 screws it's a v3 and mine has 10 screws. So given the infomation again could you tell me which version I have?
SCPH:30001 BAR CODE: PT11 SERIAL CODE: U16 DATE CODE: 1A SCREWS: 10 ELEC WARNING: YES Thanks for your help. |
You have a v3. You can read it yourself here
thanks for your help. How can I tell if it is v3 020 BIO? Cause I can get a no swap chip for that version.
The ONLY way to tell which bios it has, is to open up the PS2...
I believe most v3s have the 020 and most v1s and v2s have 010 but the like BG said, the only way to be sure is to open up your ps2.
I have opened up the bottom to my PS2 and saw a little chip marked 020 is this it? Does this mean I have a v3 020 BIO? If this isn't it where do I look and what do I look for?
Post a picture (if possible) of the "chip" you saw...That way we can be SURE..
