*Rrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiipppppppp*

Is there any movie extractor for Kingdom Hearts like there is for Final Fantasy X? I Really want to rip the intro, I love it. All the other copied of the intro I found online were Japaniese.

ChrisMofNS 22-09-2002 20:31

Where can you get this Final Fantasy X movie extractor?

Cyber Akuma 22-09-2002 20:33

Search for the last topic I posted in the ps2 message board here.

Cyber Akuma 22-09-2002 21:07

Right....... now, how about my question?

TylerDurden 22-09-2002 21:51

Ok for your question Cyber Akuma, guess what.

There will probably never be one. The files for any Squaresoft ps2 game are hidden. all you can see are the surface files.

Dont expect to ever get a ripkit for this game either.

Then would you mind explaning how a FFX ripper exsists? last I checked, FFX was made by squaresoft.

TylerDurden 23-09-2002 07:01

Yes it exists. Only because someone figured they could rip it. They shortly found out that the game is not liniar so it would take an endless number of discs to make a rip. People are not going to go through the hell they went through for FFX again especially since Squaresoft games are not liniar.

If you read my original message, I plan to rip THE INTRO MOVIE, not the entire game. I don't even have a dvd-r drive so ripping it woudl do jack for me. I just want to get the movie files, not the entire game.

TylerDurden 23-09-2002 09:04

Ok, maybe I didnt make myself clear. If no one wants to rip the game then no one will make an extracter for it.

Tha't cant likely be the case, this game is immensly popular.

Fkesoccer 02-10-2002 12:47

listen to the guy,will ya?

BG 02-10-2002 12:52

Also, ripping is becoming a thing of the PAST.... Since dvd burner prices are coming down.....Not alot of people want to spend the time to RIP anything....
If you want to rip the intro so bad...... Sit down a rip it yourself.....
Otherwise you may be waiting awhile (or forever) until someone decides to do it....

Exactly!!

Cyber Akuma 03-10-2002 10:43

Ahem, I DO want to rip it myself, if I could just extract the movie file I could likely encode it into a format the pc can read. The problem is just like FFX, all the files are hidden somehow.

BG 03-10-2002 17:52

BUT even on FFX......Someone sat down and figured it out.... You may be the one that has to do it on this game....

Cyber Akuma 04-10-2002 05:48

Heh, I would if I knew jack about how dvds and cds worked. :(

I thaught the files were just hidden somehow, I didnt know they were encoded or using their own special type of access method.

TylerDurden 04-10-2002 11:27

Well there have been some new developements in these hidden files of Squaresoft. I will keep everyone posted if anything public can be released.

Cool, thanks

Cyber Akuma 30-04-2003 19:06

Any new news yet?

Jay boy 30-04-2003 20:00

Cyber Akuma obciously can't get it through his head that no one has been able to find the files yet..

laser_wgn 30-04-2003 21:46

How about you go ask the same question at a ripping forum or something?

Go here http://forums.alucard.cc/cgi-bin/ib311/ikonboard.cgi
Goto DVD Ripping and enquire there, there are alot of rippers around there, I dont think there is any at fileforums.com?

Cyber Akuma 05-05-2003 07:02

Ripping movies off a PS2 game is much different then ripping from DVD.

The problrm isnt encoding the movie, the problem is getting it into a readable format on the pc first.

kuroi_datenshi 19-05-2003 00:11

HEY

Cyber Akuma? Check out www.squarerealm.com/forum

Cyber Akuma 19-05-2003 01:19

What is this forum about?

Seven O Two 19-05-2003 03:09

why not rip it into an iso, instead of a file at a time, then break up the iso using isobuster?

Cyber Akuma 19-05-2003 04:12

The files are somehow hidden in the data track, I dont think an ISO would make the files viewable.
