Are you burning from original games or are you downloading them?
|
downloading them........but all games work ...i get them from a good friend who says they all work
|
is he a good friend who has a ps2 that has copied and tested them?
faz |
What type of modchip are you using? I believe the answer may be in the answer to this question.
Tyler! |
I think some of them games in the list of the ones you've tried are DVD or at least they are in the UK
fifa 2002 (I think this is CDROM is the US) , SSX (Tricky?) and I think Madden NFL 2002 are all DVD |
no my friend has tested them all and they all worked on his system......but when they all started to not work was when i bought a new computer and had to re download all the programs i used to make the games...like CDRWin and all that then from this new comp i have never produced a game that works
....about the type of modchip i have...i dont really no but i iwll find out this later tonight thank u all for ur help so far but i still am lost on this subject.....may it have anything to do with patches and all these games i have downloaded are able to fit on a 700MB CDR and none r DVD ..... in canada anyway ...please helkp continuing on this subject for me....Thanks |

That way we need to know whather it still work on ur ps 2(original) |
I remember a while agp there was a problem with cdrwin when it was cracked, that it would always burn coasters.
is your version cracked? elkay |
ok new original games work on ps2
and games i have made before work alos.......jut thew ones i have made resently on this new comp i got.....and yes i use a cracked CDRWin 4.0a |
If you download cd mate it will burn everything alright with your burner and there are no settings just burn youre image bin, or iso and it must work fine. Its worth the try
|
Cdrwin will burn coasters if a crack is used to unlock it, (Pay for the software). You also may need to update the ASPI drivers for it to work correctly, Also, Most of the games mentioned will require patching if you are using a neo 2.2 chip on a v5 console or better.
|
download a trial version of cdrwin and try that
if it works apply the crack c if it still works it could well b the crack causing coaster there r some good cracks there r some bad ones as said above the only safe way is to buy the software |
i think i may have solved the problem guys
i was using CDRWin 4.0a cracked i switched to CDRWin 3.9a cracked which was wut i was using before and so far i have got one game to work can anyone tell me y this is |
I use a cracked 3.9A and it works great. 4.0A hasn't even been released by Golden Hawk so it is a fake.
|
Warlock has got it right.
Pay for the software - it's an essential tool. Some things have to be paid for. |
Thank u too all the guys that helped me out ....this is a great forum .... thanks again guys everything works great now
|
Pay for the software???? Are you kidding? To hell with that. I never pay for my software. I either crack it myself or I use a crack supplied from a very good supplier of mine.
I myself cracked CDRWin 3.9A and my version works great. bighap On a side note. Yes Goldenhawk did release a version 4A of CDRWin. I remember downloading it from the site myself. It was a beta version though. It was released sometime after v3.6 or v3.7 I cant remember the exact specifics. CDRWin V4 was not a fake! Tyler! |
I think he means CDRWin 5
|
Yeah thats it Paul. My bad.
|
TAZ WANTED
a new ps2 game wont work.......how do i no if a game needs a patch |
Go here : http://www.megagames.com/ps2/ps2_patches.shtml
If it's not on the list, it either doesn't need one, or nobody's made one yet. ( odds are it doesn't need one ) |
where are you gettin your bin/cue files from?
are they ok themselves? |

But there are two utilities that I always say should be paid for if you are going to do CD work; they are CDRWin and CloneCD because those companies invest in stumping cracked serials. I just don't have the time to cope with the consequences of a beaten crack. Some things have to be 100% reliable. |
I understand where you are coming from, I guess. But I have both of these programs and they are working in FULL. I burn a lot of games and I have never had a problem with them.
I know that if you use programs like KAZAA to find your cracks you will most likely get a bum deal. But I have my own personal resources. Tyler! |

Ok, I also agree with that. So for the sake of the forum, instead of saying "all cracked programs are bad" say "there is a very good chance that if your program is cracked you may burn coasters".
That way no false info will be shed. Tyler! |

OK no patch for TAZ WANTED ...and my resources r good...all games work perfectly.......and i HAVE A BOUGHT COPY OF cdrwin ...well payed for registration or wut not......thats wut i use to burn my games...and still no luck with that game.........i have wasted 10 CDs on it already
anymore suggestions |
Ok.... The game you are trying to copy IS A CD BASED GAME RIGHT?
Try using Clone CD.... See if it works for you. (Providing your burner is compatible...) Check here to download Clone Cd and to see if it will work with your burner...:Clone CD Website! |
Taz Wanted NTSC & EA Patch Fix Taz_Wanted_PAL_MULTI_PS2-EiTheL Download
I saw the above download at http://ps2chimps.consoleinfo.com go there and patch your game. That may solve your problems. Tyler! |
i tried both patches out for that game and it still wont work......the game goes in and i start to load it ...the screen goes black and the game just runs at a constant fast speed in the system......doest load to the start menu at all and jut keeps spinning in the system
|
can someone plz give me a quick run through on how to setup and use Clone CD 4.0.....it would be greatly appreciated
|
Just install it and always use multimedia for reading and writing ps2 cd games.

or is this ok as u know it works as tyler says there are good cracks out there for all software |
Nero needs a crack. PrimoDVD doesn't. That's the difference.
