Neverwinter Nights V1.22
 

Greetings. Neverwinter Nights v1.22 has finally been made available. And while we appreciate the speed of VLukas NoCD conversion for V 1.21, us NWN crowd are a demanding lot. So ahhh is there any chance we could get a NOCD fixed exe for v 1.22.

NWN may work with the cracked 1.21 executables, however the build number on the EXEs has changed. Version 1.21 is build 6728 and version 1.22 is build 6729. This is all, naturally, just point of interest information; it doesn't actually help get a patch to you any sooner, sorry.

Yes i just got 1.22 and would like to play it, If u have already made it could u host it till GameCopyWorld can host it, if not i am willing to host the file for everyone.

Actually, it looks like this Camera Angle Hack could probably patch a No-CD exe to work too, since it's a generic hack.

if the game is using a safedisk protection then unsafedisk should be able to solve the problem easily. although unsafedisk does not always create a no-cd patch it does on the newer version of safedisk

ISn't the game protected by an advanced version of Secrorom (sp?)?

Yes, BioWare said they had an advanced SecuROM on NWN. This is why things such as SecuROM generic crackers aren't working, for me, atleast.

I also have tried to use an unwrapper (on a page linked to this one) and my computer locks up when I try to dump/recompile, so...

Unless the new crack for v1.22 is coming out soon, I'm going to tinker with the unwrapper and see if I can get it to work. Infogrames should also be sending me an unwrapper, but I doubt that will be for a few days.

The file size is VERY different though. Makes me wary of this crack. The Camera Angle Hack doesn't work on it, so I'm gonna hold off on using it.

I would be EXTREMELY wary of this prog. Looking at it in Ollydbg and the Dev version of 1.21 there are none of the string references that you see in 1.21 and previous.

Well the game does run SECUREROM and if you have a 1:1 copy of it then your fine. And the SECUREROM is only on the play disk. And the guy that burned it for me didn't know that and my copy worked until this last patch....... I neeed!!!!!!!!!

The Patch Works
 

Downloaded the wierd size patch from the chinese website
used the 40meg installer patch from Bioware

It works perfectly , loaded savegame with no problem
quit and went back in , worked perfectly

it says v1.22

they must have fully stripped out the securerom instead of shutting it off , maybe thats why the code is so small

Once again....Be VERY carefull about using this file...Like I said all other versions of NWMAIN.EXE have identifiable text strings in them such as chapter names and other assorted items. There are at least a couple hundred of them....I have never counted them. This file has NONE of them, not a single one.

I personally am waiting for the Dev release.

Waiting for Dev release too, so I the Camera Angle Hack can be used (it works on the 1.21 No CD so it should work on the 1.22 No CD too)

And the camera hack works on it too.

I must be missing something here, cause there are no links on any of the pages on GCW to actually download cracks... I must be missing something really obvious... please hit me over the head with it.

I downloaded several unpacking clients just to be sure, but the new rar file with the version 1.22 exe always comes up as corrupt and I can't unpack it.

If someone can throw me a link just with the exe or a fixed rar file, let me know.

I noticed that a thread that asked a similar question about the rars got locked. Hope this one doesn't, I'm not dumb, this site has been my savior for a long while. However, it does seem obvious that I'm missing something, since some of you have obviously downloaded this thing and had it work.

Is there anyone else getting this from the game after the patch? I have reinstall the game and did the 1.22 update created and player account and then did the patch and ...lnothing but this error "your player name has been refused by the server."

I also have this problem my cd-key that worked on before will now not work. any one else haveing this problem?:(

Do u have any obscene words in your name, mostly all online games filter out obscene words and won't allow players to use em. So if u obviously used an obscene name than change it, or maybe u did it by accident like Sir Shitley

Why hasn't there been a fixed version of the Neverwinter Nights v1.22 Private Internet & LAN Server Fix posted yet? The one on GCW is missing the nwserver.exe file that's supposed to be included along with nwmain.exe.

The name isnt the problem, the servers i validating the user and blocking it away, we nned a nwserver for 1.22. Anyone know where we can found the cracked version of nwserver wich was supposedly in The 1.22 private LAN server fix, but it isnt there?

I can't believe nobody has bothered to provide the complete version of that Private Internet & LAN Server fix yet. Does anybody even care that the version posted on GCW is incomplete?

Yep. Same problem here.

It bypasses the nwmaster.bioware.com, but when i connect to a server, the server says "my cdkey is not authorized".

so finally, it doesn't solve the problem. :( :rolleyes:
