Gta 3 No CD For Windows XP?
 

1st to the moderator, I have tried ALL cracks, and none will work on my windows xp for Grand theft auto 3.

So now I ask, for the people with GTA 3, and have XP, what crack did you use for no cd?

BTW: How do you copy the play cd, Adaptec wont work

You can make a copy with CloneCD without any abnormal settings, is very easy.
As all the music and stuff is on the PlayCD you need the CD to play the game.

I have downloaded Clonc cd 4, and clonyxxl. I scanned the install GTA 3 disc, and it worked. But then i scaned the gta 3 PLAY disc, then tried cloncd, and it kept saying "Failed to read sector XXX"
This is really pissin me off, because I bought GTA 3, lent it to a friend, but he brought it back scratched. So this new CD, I am trying to copy is another friend's of mine.
Suggestons?

Dont know what crack i use, but i can mail you if you want. (2.5MB)

Use the gimpsRus crack for 1.1
And copy the audio folder from the play cd over to your GTA 3 installation dir. Then you can play without CD and with full music. It works fine on XP.

Read errors from sectors 800-10000 are normal as this is the copy protection

Ok, where do I find a no cd patch? I hate to keep bugging the guys personally here for it? I hate to keep my cd's coming in and out of the computer, it is only a matter of time and it will get scratched. Lot's of people use my PC and it bugs me I buy a game for big bucks and can't keep a working copy to save the origional. Sorry I had to rant...:mad:

I've a patch for version 1.1, no cd and music (if u want...) don't know if it works on Xp but try, there's no reasons.....

I've got GTA3 working fine for XP. There was a patch on some time ago that enabled you to create a crackable cd2.

You should be able to copy GTA 3 without any patches. I made a copy with CloneCD and it works great.

The only thing is that you can't use the copy in your burner! I think there is an ATIP check, as mentioned in the new FAQ, that checks to see if the game is on a CD-R. If it's in a DVD or CD-ROM drive, however, this can not be checked and it works fine.

Btw, I have windows XP home edition, and a Lite-on 48x/24x/48x burner.

i thought unsafeshit worked with gta3.

I just bought GTA3 and none of the nocd's work for me. I have an older burner (no $$$ to upgrade yet) so I cant get a good 1:1 made of the play disk. Can someone send me the above crack?? email is: kerrigan89********com.
