Sof 2 Cd Backup Problems
 

I did a backup of SOF2. BUT when i try to install it, it doesn't work:

I put the C1, installation begins, but when it asks for the CD2, I put it in, and click ok. But the installation doesn't want to cobntinue.

Is there something to do for that, a patch pr another way to install it Or maybe can i put all the files from the cd 21 on the part already installed?

this game is CDCHECKS protected.

provided you have a clonecd compatible burner you should be able to make a working back up of this game.

download clony and this will tell you the cd protection used then as long as you have clonecd installed it will automatically send the correct read settings to clone once you start clonecd.

dont read n burn too fast either.....i usually use x2 speed on both and never have any probs.

once installed you can either leave disc one in your burner , as the game checks the cd before it loads or you can download and install the no-cd patch from this site.

ur Installation does not continue because the Second CD files ISO or BIn file is corrupted

that really is the only reason that it wouldnt work. did u do a nero backup ;)

do u get an error message when it stops

I have this same problem also. It ask for the second CD and can't see it. It will not read the second disk that has the information that I copied. Is there anything that can help with this problem?

I have the same problem too..i'll make another copy of the CD2 with CCD4 and c if somethin happens!Will let ya know

I just made a copy of both SOF2 CDs using Clony and CCD4 and everythin works fine...it must b the Nero problem...If ya need more info let me know.

This CD2 problem I found it is mainly do to people D/L the file instead of actually burning the actual Copy

I think is a "Cd Name "problem.


When it asks for th CD2, first we should give the backup Cd 1 & 2 the correct name of the original CDs.

Does anybody as the correct name sfrom the originals Cds

Ya, I know the name.. just popped my copy in an looked.

CD1 = sofii_1
CD2 = sofii_2

You should have the names of the disc !!!
Look at your Original-Discs... or haven't you the originals !!!

Yes I should have them! But backup Cds are for Backup, and it just appears that my originals don't work any more!!

I treid to reburn it with the right name but it didn't work!

I don't know what to do anymore.


I tried to install cd1 then copy cd2 in the sof2 directory bu it didn't work.


I tried also to copy and past the 2 cds in one directory but it didn't work.

Does someone can help me?

Is it a way to make an image from a cd burnt after having extracted them with isobuster?

ok i scanned the 2nd cd with clony an it told me no cd protections found. i going to try to burn it again using clone cd.:(
