Where can i found the crack(protection fix) for the ITALIAN version of final fantasy 9 (playstation)?
...because i'm italian....and there are many version here in megagames...us fra ing ...and the italian?!?

you can download CloneCD. If you have CloneCD you don't need a crack to burn FF9

what type and model # of burner do you have? do you have a stealth mod chip?

My burner is a yamaha 4x4x16 (S.C.S.I.) and i know that it can't read or burn subcannel how it must do with clone.....

what is a stealth mod chip?I don't know...it is a chip for the play?

i have used clone 4 but FF IX don't work !!!!!!!

The Yamaha Scsi 4X CDR Burner you got does support Clone CD..
Also Look at the bottom of the PSX you got..The Number starting with SCPH 1001,5501,7501 or 9001 unless you got PS one(Compact) either way they support Stealth modchip..
I checked several sites and it seems there is no Protection fix for the Italion version of FFIX at the time..Since there is Protection fix for FFVIII on the Italion version it's matter of time but in the other hand you're better off with the Stealth Chip..With this you DO NOT have to patch games because the Chip bypassess the protection..Also as Buzzon mentioned earlier using Clone Cd doesn't do remove the protection only thing it does is make 1:1 copy that's it..You need to patch the game and then use Golden hawk CDR win to reburn it in slower speed..
Also Dart81 why not just get a burned USA copy of the FFIX(No protection at all) if you don't want to get a stealth chip..Since you read english well..

Thanks A03 for the informations you gave me.....however now i think that i don't want to get a stealth chip for my psone...because my problems are only for a game so i think it isn't convenient(moderate)!

Perhaps i will follow your advice burning a copy of ff9 from USA whit my Yamaha.....I hope i'm able to read so well english (so well for enjoy the game!!!!!)

Hi,i've been backing up my copy of Final Fantasy 9(Australian Version)and keep getting a coaster of the second disc.The first disc worked no worries then i got half way though the second disc and it locked up so i chequed the origanial disc and it went pass this part so i recopied disc2 and it worked but now it doing it again at another spot in the game.

I've got a mod chip(couple of months ago)and am using CloneCD.
My buner is able to do Libcript and i use the settings posted on PSXCopyWorld.

Is this a mod chip protection at work or what?And if so why does the first disc work and the second disc play up?

Any help would be great.

It is likely the Media you're using..Because if one disc you made goes through and other doesn't it's gotta be the media..Since Anti Mod multi CD games are All protected(Every CD) and the 1st disc went through it's bad burn for the 2nd CD or whatever Disc you're having trouble with..If it's locking up..Or try checking the Original Discs are they Scratched? Any thing is possible..Sometimes even the simplest thing can affect it..
It seems like the US Version of FFIX is the one that's not protected..Actually neither is Japanese version for once..

But is this game not Safedisc 2?

Is there anybody that is able to make a crack?
Is not possible take the u.s.a. ff9 crack and modify that for the italian game?

There is NO CRACK for USA Version because it's not protected..Also what ever the patch is made for in that lanuage only applies to that Country's Game..
Why not just get the US version? Because from looks of it there won't be patch coming out..Since Stealth Modchip is around Groups hardly release patches and the fact that Release Group
works mainly on PS2 titles..

Read sub dhannels (audio and data), slow read, abort on read errors--amplify weak sectors (if available--depending on version).

Slow burn, DON'T REPAIR SUBCHANNEL DATA, close disc.

You may need to play with Sector regeneration and/or laser calibration (try not using them first).

Use high quality 650 MB media--silvers at least of the 12X variety or better. I say 650 MB because I've read some mod chips for PS2 don't run 80 minute (700) cdr's very well, it might be a problem here as well. If you are using newer media formats (32X or higher), you may need a firmware upgrade for better compatability. My Lite-on wouldn't read half my 32X silvers unless I cleaned them and buffed them good first--then I updated the firmware and they burn flawlessly now. www.liteonit.com

The Modchips that doesn't play 80 min CDR's are for DVD rips..
It DOES NOT matter whether you use 650 or 700's when you're making 1:1 copies..The Ace key is known for not playing DVD rips that's over 625 megs.Due to TOC from what I heard. Even though some places that carries it claims it will..But from what I heard it does not based on some people who purchased it.
Also 12X burn speed is fine, however if you're making copy of copy burn it slower. I realize that everybody's technique is different but all it sums up to same way in the end.
I do not know why people have hard time copying FFIX but I'm sure the Burner has something to do with it.
1X is too slow for burning.Sure it guarantee it but 2X to 8X more than stable..Just make sure to use Decent to Great Media's.
Sony,TDK or Verbatim's. I know lot of people says differ but you have to realize that PS or PS2 laser is very sensitive or it will not pick up generics or 3rd brand discs and etc..That's why Name brands will always work.
