ähm, i have got a question. can anybody from the usa sell a gta3-game and ship it than to me? because i am german and the german version is not so realistic like the american one. plz. i give u the money, is ja klar!

Well as a matter of fact I was messing around with some settings in Easy CD Cremator and it worked..........lol

so what is the theory on sd3 , is it able to be copied ? Or does no'one have any idea as of yet .

Well, ive cloned it with my Creative of course. It can do anything. I used CloneCD v0.73beta and poured some milk on the writer to keep the built in overheat-protection in SD3 down.

Well I have GTA 3 and ran SafeDisk Ana.
 

I ran Safedisk Analyze on it and it is :


Version Release : v2.51.021
CRC (Calc/Proof) : 8607d2cb

I tried running the Safedisk 2.51 dumper on it
but it crashed and never produced anything..

So now what ?

GTA 3 install disk copies fine but.
 

Oh forgot to mension...

I was able to copy the install disk fine, and I also copied the play cd using clonecd, however when I tried playing the game the copied play cd doesnt work.

So there ya go...

GTA3 US version copied fine for me.
It is 2 CD's, Install and Play disc.

-Read at 4x with Toshiba DVDROM SD-M1202. Only Fast Error Skip checked with Default settings.
-Write at 4x with Liteon 24x.
-Used CloneCD 3.3.4.1.

somebody said deviances crack f*ed up on saved games. anyways, everything says its 2.51, stop getting worked up ! safedisc 3, if its coming soon, will *probably* be on the next MOH game.

GTA 3 was released Today, 22/5/2002, in America. Due to be released this Friday here in the UK. Dont know about the rest of Europe. Awesome game, hated the first 3 GTAS (GTA, GTA:1969, GTA 2), this ones got some kind of hook. Deserves to be the best selling title on PS2.
If anybody has bothered to read that cdfreaks article you would read that they only THINK it is SafeDisc V3.

Like stated by someone else, the install disc copied fine for me in nero. When trying to copy the install/audio disc in nero it kept quitting saying "This cd is Copywrited". Fired up Clone CD and it copied fine, tried running it and of course it came up asking for the CD. Since there wasn't a no cd crack and GCW yet I simply used the deviant crack for their release. Game started up and ran fine but now I run into the problem that as soon as I get into the car at the begining and start driving, I crash to the desktop.

I didn't use Safedisk Analyzer or whatever, just used Safedisk 2 settings in CloneCD and it works fine. The Play CD works fine too for me. Game runs perfectly.

GTA3 is just plain SD2, most likely newer version that can only be copied by Liteon's and CloneCD.

Just run SDAnalyser! Then you can tell for sure. If its SD2 it will tell you.

So what is it really? Is it SD3 or just some weird API stuffed SD2?

Most of the times blood and gore are removed from german games.

And theyre german of course.

Where is this "SafeDisk" option in CloneCd I have clone cd and see no option what so ever for Safedisk. Please help me out on this. Does anyone know how to copy the game and get it to work. Or know a crack that works. Cause the crack on gcw lets the game start up, but when I get in the game it asks me to insert Disk 2 of GTAIII Some ONE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!
