I'm not an expert with the console roms by no means, but have been snooping around after zedy posted that link the other day about nes to psx. what I have found is the following:

nes - psx
snes - ps2
master system - ps2
game gear - ps2
sega genesis - ps2

not sure about n64 - ps2, although some wizzkid is probably trying it at the moment.

The snes - psx is down to file size, got a bit too techy for me to explain in great detail. mail me if you want the link.

How you can even expect the PSX to be able to run an emulation program of a console which is by far more powerful than itself is absolutely hilarious :)

You can emulate N64 on PC though, and extremely well I might add.

I have also heard of someone's friend who copied MANY nes games onto a CD that works on Dreamcast...FYI;)

Please all the bickering posts are a waste of time to read. If you want to insult someone do you mind not posting it? Just a bit of advice...from a newb :D

the dreamcast has lots of emulators available for it. SMS GEN NES SNES etc.

n64 - xbox is possible: http://xboxpower.vg-network.com/
n64 - ps2 could be possible
n64 - ps1 never- ever (n64 is 2x better, normally the emulating system should be 2 or 3x better)

N64 - X-Box was due for public release shortly, has been held up due to somebody leaking the beta version. The developer might stoip working on it completely.

N64 - PS2 has been done, but it cant be released as the developer has been told that if it is then he will be in serious trouble with the law.

N64 - PSX not possible.

buy a dreamcast(dirt cheap if u find one not being made anymore
as psx paul said has emu for most consoles (minus ps1 and ps2 xbox gamecube)
no chip needed no need for anything

N-64 cannot be emulated because the system that is emulating a machine has to be 3-4x faster than the original machine.

But ps2 may be able to emulate 64 because it`s 3x faster than 64

Can you give us links for SMS/GG/GB & PCE

Sorry psx_paul,the game boy emu isnt on the net it`s on a cart i bought along with other emu`s but here are names not links i dont know em for the emulators:

sms/GG: mastergear
TG-16:fpce i think
