Burning Roms to play on PSX

I was wondering if it's possible to burn nes roms so i could play them on my psx instead on my pc.

buzzon 09-05-2002 19:05

no it is not possible.it would be the same as putting a pc game in a psx.

or if you have a dreamcast theres a popular program that you burn to a disk along with all your snes roms, and it plays on your dreamcast. im not smart enought to figure out how to do it though.

DC games and DC programs are the simpilist thing to copy and have boot up.

PSXpirate 11-05-2002 19:14

This board is for burning snes games on a disk to play on DC. not dc games on a disk.

so ANGSTERSON SPOOT ! whatever happened to the angry beavers? that show was the shit.

Scavanger 11-05-2002 19:31

Bah. Same pricipals apply to making a bootable cd on teh dream cast anyway.... so it doesn't matter... and DreamSNES owns.

PSXpirate 11-05-2002 19:38

dreamsnes is what the emulator is called right? cuz i d/loaded it once and i could figure out what to do from there.

Scavanger 11-05-2002 19:45

Yea.

www.dcemulation.com

Biggest resource on the net. These days all the stuff you need to do to make stuff bootable on the dreamcast can be done with the utitites on that site.

Well - Is there?

Even though some of the games out at the moment are superb - you cant beat getting out the old consoles and having a few levels of super mario world or sonic the hedgehog. I know these are old games, but they are classics. These working emulators for psx save me crawling through my loft to get out the nes for an afternoon !

I would also be interested to know if there are other working emulators for psx - for consoles such as megadrive/gameboy etc.

PSXpirate 13-05-2002 18:44

sorry bout that, i just kinda went crazy, well crazy for a message board atleast.

psx_paul 15-05-2002 05:19

Just found out that there is no SNES emulator on the PSX.

There is a beta version of a SNES emulator for the PS2, there are also GameGear/Master System/Genesis emulators for the PS2.

steve455 15-05-2002 10:57

buzzon 15-05-2002 11:20

i would not start stuff on this fourm, because half of them are hackers just like me. but if you continue your pc might start doing funky shit, just a suggestion so do so at your own risk!!

PSXpirate 15-05-2002 14:12

well, if u think your "hard" for telling me your gonna beat my ass on a message board then good 4 you. and by the way, its spelled "ganja". I bet your 10 years old or somethin anyway.

back to the topic.........If you have a dreamcast then u should use the dreamSNES emulator. My friend uses it and says its pretty good. but ive never used it or seen it being used.

and i really dont care either.
