I have burnt "Flight simulator 2002 professional" but my setup.exe file goes broken!!! Please help me!!!

i need this file too, i copied the game perfectly but the setup.exe has a safedisc "varient" on it.. i can't find any crack anywhere, aghh

Setup.exe has generated errors (well, that sux)
 

I had a similar experience. I used CloneCD with fast error skip on to get past the SafeDisc copy protection. However, when I try to install from the backup (the copy of CD 1) I get the error message: "setup.exe has generated errors. The program will be shut down."

Now, I realize that I may not need the CD to play the game if I do a full install, but if I can't reinstall the game from the backup, if I need to, it kind of defeats the purpose of having a backup.

Does anyone know the cause of (and a fix for) this?

Why do you need a Yuri fixed setup.exe? Its not protected.

I think Yuri setup.exe is protected.

BTW: I never knew that the setup.exe on FS2002 was protected. What with - safedisk? It wouldn't be SD 2.51 so you may be able to unwrap it with Unsafedisk if it is SD protected. But hey, I'm only guessing.

Yuris setup.exe (german version) is not protected with any kind of copy protection. It has CD Checks, maybe CRC and of course CD Key. I know that because I did an imperfect copy of it. Copied it to HD, burnt it with Nero. Setup still works. Only Yuri.exe is protected (SD 2.40.xx or 2.41.xx).

Lucky you - the UK version is protected I think (it's sitting in the corner of me room somewhere).
But hey - I can clone it so it doesn't really matter.

There is even a trick to bypass Yuri.exe so you dont even have to bother your unsafedisc. Just use RA2md.exe. its the same .exe with no protection on it, i think. Havent tested it thoroughly though. Again this is for german version.

Why do you need a german setup.exe for Renegade? It doesnt have copy protection, so just copy to HD and burn with Nero. Only game.exe is protected.

Mayby only my fu..in version,but there are 3 savediscv2.51 or 2 ,(forgot which one is the latest) executabels.:autostart.exe,setup.exe,setup.exe2.An d if u know a guy who can bust that sd2 protection,tell me and i am gona send u the executabels!And than post to gcw.Na ja ,man kanns ja mal versuchen.;)

I dont know but I just have tried to backup FS2002 Pro Edition with CCD4 and it worked. I tested with Toshiba DVDrom SD-C2402 built in my laptop. With 8x setting, Fast error skip, Dont report read error, and Intelligent Bad sector scanner.

The first CD takes 3:57
The second CD takes 1:51
The third CD takes 4:10.

Also few months ago I made my backup CD's with CD Mate and had no problem at all.

Has anyone tried to look for FS2002 on Kaaza? Good luck all!

Probier mal Unsafedisc zu benutzen (bei CD Protection Utilities). Unsafedisc ist ein generic tool um Safedisc wegzubekommen.

Also, ganz einfach: Safedisc Analyser starten, auf load clicken, geschützte .exe auswählen. Dann zeigt der dir die version an.

so hatte ich mir das auch vorgestellt, aber die anzeigefelder sind leer geblieben

Dann ist es nicht Safedisc.

Du musst für jede Safedisc version das passende Unsafedisc benutzen. Also für Safedisc 2.05.xx Unsafedisc 2.05.xx, für Safedisc 2.40.10 Unsafedisc 2.40.10.
Bei Safedisc v1 kannst du einfach Unsafedisc v1.5.5 benutzen. Das funzt für alle SD1 versionen.
