Help me Crack this Safedisc 2.51.121

Does anyone know where I can grab something to crack this new version safedisc???

donmega2 25-01-2002 08:43

there is nothing yet, and it's not sure that there will be a new UnSafeDisc ! (That topic was discussed a thousand times before-----search function----)

Lite-On 24102B with CloneCD. The only possible way currently to backup this game as a 1:1 copy. Of course you can always use the cracks but the lite-on is the only 1:1 solution.

You should not tell anyone that the writer you have is the only 1:1 solution
you have not reasearched clonecd's site very well, and yes your writer will do the job but there are others as well...
This was posted by me:

These writers will:
plextor px-w2410a, teac cd-w524, toshiba sd-r1202 dvd combo drive, lite on ltr24102b. all these writers will do the following:
1)best supported write mode of raw-dao 96
2)buffer underrun technology
3)correct EFM enc####g of regular bit patterns
4)best supported read mode for data and audio raw+96
whith all these options you should be covered untill the next wave of copywrite detection....

PS: there are exceptions to the rules with writers
but these writers above have been tested with clone cd.

# 3 is the key to safedisk2

Bit of research would show that the latest version of Safedisk 2 (2.51.021) is DEFEATING all the writers that could previously copy Safedisk 2 except for the Lite-On 24X and 32X.

Although there has been some success with a modified version of Betablocker. There seems to be a few different weak sectors. Hopefully Olli can fix this in Clone CD, and hopefully the Plextor team will be working away on a new firmware to "fix" my Plex24X

Copytrooper 27-01-2002 14:06

You can still use Daemon Tools 3.0 to backup SD2 protected games!
SafeDisc 2.51.021 has been tested with Daemon 3.0 and works fine!

packer 27-01-2002 15:13

i can't isntall Daemon tools 3 on Xp. Is there a specaill way of doing it? It just restarts my computer when it is almost finished intalling.

Can the Acer 2010a do the v2.51.21 safedisk ?

Copytrooper 27-01-2002 15:17

The only ´special way´ to install the Daemon Tools is to run the setup.exe ... you MUST NOT (!) start the .msi file!
Come to the Daemon Tools forum ####://board.dtools.de so the developer may help you ...

Can you point me to where you found info about
the lite on?
The plextor is not working as far as the 1:1
You maybe right!

You will find a lot of info on this topic at the official Clone CD Forum - ####://cloneclinic.org.uk/

Thanks bro...
but there is no msi file anyway...

Copytrooper 28-01-2002 13:28

There´s no .msi-file!? For sure there´s! There MUST be!
Inside the .zip are 4 files:
Daemon.msi, setup.exe, history.txt and readme.txt - unzip ALL (!) files and run setup!

packer 28-01-2002 13:53

well i got xp and it says windows installer package..... Anyway what must i doknow because i have tried to install it with the msi file..I have i screwed up everything?

Copytrooper 28-01-2002 14:21

Well, try to run setup - what happens?
If it installs fine and comes up with an error after reboot, try to uninstall it (via control panel -> software) and install it again ...

packer 28-01-2002 22:21

I will try it htat way and let you know..
Thanks..

Hi Rulazy2, first off let me say that Gh0sth@cker does not need me defending him, but since you are new here (judging by your number of posts) I will let you know that he is absolutely right. Second of all, calling people vulgar names will probably get you banned by the mods here.
Now I don't know what you mean when you say your Sony CRX140 will copy Medal Of Honor. Are you talking a true 1:1 ? Because if so, I, and most others here, will not believe you based on what we know about the drive. What you are probably talking about, is a "bad" copy of the game, requiring a crack or fixed .EXE file. Please clarify to us what you mean about your "perfect" copy.

Sorry about calling him names but as i mentioned before, when i said perfect, i now know that wasnt the correct word to use. Yes the copies require a nocd patch to run. But to me that means i have a game that doenst require a cd in the drive. The game plays the same it runs the same and it is the full game. On none on his messages does he mention that any drive can make a so called bad copy. He just carries on about how the only drives that can copy medal are two from several tested . All i stated was i could make a copy and run it on my computer with no cd in the drive. If he had not been so arrogant in his posting i wouldnt bother replying to him. Im sorry for the confusion that i have caused but he just pissed me off with his high all mighty attitude. And to be perfectly honest i really dont care if i get booted from this forum, the only reason i posted a message in the first place was to help someone. Again if a drive can burn the game and all it needs is the nocd patch to run wouldnt you like to know that your drive can do it. Instead of being told only two drives can copy the game you have.

Lil Half Swell 01-02-2002 07:23

Well, the thing is, every single drive in the world can make a "bad" copy. That's no big deal. But that is not what we should want. It is certainly no feat to be able to make a bad copy, anyone can do that. It is difficult to patch your game when a new version comes out without having a 1:1 copy. And if you have to get your original CD out just to update your game, what's the use of having a bad copy around????
Again, Gh0sth@cker can defend himself just fine, but if he seemed to come across as 'high & mighty' it's because he's been around the block several times and he knows his stuff really well, as several regulars posters here do too, and when he read your post claiming something that he knew was not true, he was simply trying to correct you on it, so as to not mislead other new visitors who might waste several CDs trying to 1:1 games with their Sony CRX140 after reading that yours could make a so-called perfect backup.
I guess it's all in how you phrase it, m8.

Ok, ok. If I do appear to appear "all high and mighty" to you, I'm glad you've mentioned it. I'll try to cut it out if I find myself doing it again ;) Bit of positive criticism eh?
BTW:-Thx goes to Lil Half Swell & Vluka for backing me up a little - appreciated

Hi Ghost,

Sorry to have called you a d**k but it appears i am the D**K. I should have researched a bit more before i opened up my big mouth. As for all the others in this forum who have come to ghost side, its good to see people backing up other when it needed. I opoligize for my stupid and reckless words. I hope i can make it up and people look and read my posts from now on with a more positive attitude.

Again sorry.

Don't worry, All is forgiven, I'd like to think that the sometimes harsh words here are simply a case of 'tough love' hehehe. :-)
Welcome aboard Rulazy2. It may be a rough ride sometimes, but stick with us here. You are welcome here anytime.
