ok i took the patch by the balls and did it... and it works :£ cheers man... i suggest copying your ofp.exe and bin folder just incase but i had no probs cheers mate

Yeah it worked i tested it online with gamespy.

it would have been better if it where the original/official upgrade without the safedisk 2 protection, maybe later

oh' yeah and is there any files missing like perhaps some missions ?? cause the official upgrade was 6 MB and this file it under 2 MB

the patch works to some extent, and it also can be used to play online. But i noticed some bugs as well, such as the inability to use satchel charges (the options to put satchel charges is invisible in the scrolling menu), the option for the SuperAI in the difficulty menu is there but the text is missing, and a bit here and there.

wouldnt it be great if there's a new unsafedisc or an official cracked patch.. ?

We need the ####en unSafeDisc dumper-rebuilder for the new version of safedisc being used by those ####s at bohemia..

No f-IN wonder. i was playing this mission in single player that i'v never played before and my mission was to blow up some refuleing stations and they gave me some charges but i wasnt able to use them. there was a blanck space instead of the charges.

im going to remove this patch

QUAKERGAMER how did you exactly make the patch for 1.40?

Does anyone know where the official cracked update for OPF 1.40 can be downloaded? Or where the new version of SafeDisc can be downloaded?

If someone knows where the new version of SafeDisc is I could make the crack for 1.40 and hook everyone up :) Or if someone could give me a site that has the proper tools to crack the update :)

The issues with the satchels and other "wierd" things are all the result of FADE.
And there will be no more UnSafedisc !!!, so please stop asking...
If you had done a search on "unsafesic" you would have found this yourself!
Please dont take this too critical, but searching often answers questions that have been asked many many times before...

THIS ISN'T THE REAL PATCH QGamer!!! So, how did you do it??? You have original OPF and you just upgraded it, copyed the BIN & EXE from your OPF folder... ^_^

Well, there are really some issues on the game by installing this "patch" but none of them prevents me of playing the game both in single and multiplayer game mode. I have played on gamespy many times and there wasn't no FADE. And about the issue with the satchels, they work normally, and are there, the option is only invisible, but if you select it, it will work.
Well, if no new unsafedisks versions will be released, then I think there are no way to crack the official 1.40 patch. But this little tricky from our friend Quakergamer is working very well. Now I can play again on gamespy and for me this is what i need :)

Im pretty sure all you need to play the game with online players of version 1.40 is the cracked EXE which can be downloaded from GCW ####://dl.gamecopyworld.com/dl.cgi?opf140_exe!ace this is why he thanks deviance.

i tried placing satchel charges and they worked the option is blank though.I dont think this is casued by fade it is caused by this so called patch.

before i applyed this patch i backed-up the files it was going to replace just incase it wasnt going to work, and once i found out it had these bugs i removed the patch now everything is normal.

I joined a online game of operation flashpoint without this patch but with the nocd/fixed exe v1.40

The solution is very simple since a cracked exe is available. Although I have to wonder how the exe was unsafedisc'd for no-cd check if the original update can't be.

quakergamer, did you do the following?

Install legitimate 130. Copy folder. Update to 140. Compare both using file-sync program and package changed files? It seems since the update is so much larger that some files may be missing from what you have made available.

No one needs a lamer to release a cracked 1.40 update patch.

Everyone needs a true coder to release new unSafeDisc dumper-rebuilder.

You morons who think we actually need a cracked patch AFTER we get hold of new unSafeDisc are beyond help!

And too the goofballs thinking no new unSafeDisc packages will be released...think about it - 1.40 cracked exe's are out.

There is an official 1.4 update released by DEVIANCE, does anyone know where it can be found??
