btw, is it normal to get shot within 3 seconds after re-spawning?? multiplayer game against computer . i start back at base, before i get chance to turn around im shot again .. repeat until 30 minutes is up ...

Hi, thanks for making this patch, but I got a problem when I try to open the ULTIMATE.EXE (i opened the patch.reg first)file it says:

Operation flashpoint is not installed on your computer or installation is corrupted

I have tried reinstalling OPF and nothing happens...

Can anyone help me on this?

Hello, i applied the ultimate patch and rpg and law patch and i still get booted from the game, faded to be more exact... back to the drawing board for one of us.... thanks for trying.

i'm having the same prob as luisde8cd... if this install is not for the warez version, does anyone know where I can get such an update?

I don't think there's any cracks out there right now that get past that FADE shit yet. As soon as you apply either of the game updates you'll notice a serious lack of accuracy in your rifles. I tried out what I thought might be a workaround by replacing my system registry with the one from before the patches, and that still didn't sort it. I have the ISO from Deviance ,and played it for countless hours and I never saw any signs of their copy protection until I applied the patches.Somebody has got to crack that mess or every game developer out there is gonna jump all over this FADE crap.

The retail version (or the ISO's) does NOT have the FADE protection (it HAS a few bugs which are mistakenly seen the dreaded FADE).

The v1.10 & v1.11 patches do have the FADE protection and this will be a hard one to crack as the protection is not as static as previous protection have been. Everything can be cracked but to crack FADE for 100% will just take more time than "usual"! This is what Codemaster is hoping for, to delay a working crack so that people are buying the game instead of waiting forever! I don't blame them as this will be the only way to really sell the game.

I heard from someone who tried this patch that in multiplayer game after about 20 minutes stops the game with the following text : "Original games do not fade".

Yes, i can proof this situation. I have played vs. another human via network. After a few minutes I was always shot down by an enemy as soon as I respawned - no way to escape or defend. I'm even not quite sure, if the shooter was really an enemy or a team member...

Bug or feature or FADE?

I got the some error message. It seems to work if u add a registry key to HKEY/LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/CODEMASTERS/OPERAT...
(there must be the "KEY" entry from PATCH.REG already)
Add a STRING called "MAIN" = "C:\FLASHPOINT" <- Your path to Flashpoint
(don't enter the quotes)

If it still fails, check if the path is properly defined in "MAIN".

the reg-file is not correct. there is only a return missing.

go to the end of the string: "KEY"=hex:67,65,6e,69,75,73,20,63,72,61,63,6b,65,6 4,21

and just press enter so a new line will be generated. after that the reg-file can be used correctly. it worked for me.

can someone whose flashpoint 1.11 successfully installed, please copy there "patch.reg" EXACTLY?

I´ve played the patched 1.11 version in multiplayer on a lan network, and received the message "Original games don´t FADE" and after it the multiplayer game has finished. The accuracy is perfect all the problems were corrected but Fade still detects the crack.
Does anyone solved it?

yeah, fullstah is right about patch.reg, edit that, goto end of the line "KEY"=hex:67,65,6e,69,75,73,20,63,72,61,63,6b,65,6 4,21 , and press return , save , double click it ..

only other issue i can think of, if ure still having 'fade' problems in multi, make sure all players are using same cracked / fixed update .

Defarine: the getting shot as soon as i respawn, didnt happen when i changed the difficulty level off veteran (didnt see that option, hehe, and im deffinatly no veteran!)

i dont get it because KEY"=hex:67,65,6e,69,75,73,20,63,72,61,63,6b,65,64 ,21 means exacly Genius cracked! and i dont think that is corekt key 67=g 65=e 6e=n 69=i 75=u 73=s 20= 63=c 72=r 61=a 63=c 6b=k 65=e 64=d 21=!

this is one of the moments in which I'm glad that I can play Counter-Strike :D

I hate the game, i dont see what al the fuss is ####en thing is a 3dfx loving game. Ran smooth on a PII 350 with a voodoo2 and ran slower on my duron 700 with tnt2 :\
Anyhow we played a lovly multiplayer game recently and some ppl got the dreaded message about origenal games do not fade, then it sorta fades into a black screen then nothign happens. I still dont believe its FADE, i havnt seen any proof yet sugesting FADE is real

None of the files once downloaded work for me.....
I download them and get 2 different file sizes
5.07mb and 5.32mb....niether work for me..... im going to download version 2.3 of winace in a hope that it works................

You have to download the correct file *.ace, then decompress it with Winace. good luck

I've got a problem when i execute rzr_opflash_v111_RPG_and_LAW_crash_fix.exe
there comes an error message:
valid version or file al ready patched.
And i didn't patched it with that patch befor. ???
(I do applied another patch befor.(patch for v1.1))

you know whats really funny? I used the update by itself, and the game updated, and runs awesome, accepting the LAWS would lock my game up.
So all I did was use the patch to fix the LAWs from crashing me, and I get no fade, all my machine guns are accurate still. I got no "game doesn t fade etc" message.
I didn t bother to use the update registry patch either.
I have joined and played quite a bit online, and no boots. My full U.S. version should be here by the week end. So I will transfer my saved missions over to it.

I just got the US version today. It reads 1.20 version. Does this mean that all these fixes won't work since they're for 1.11? Also, what's the procedure for copying the CD. I have CDRWin 4.0, Nero, and CloneCD. Which one works and what settings do I use?

Chingo rename the file from .tgz to .ace and try it

This might not be a problem, but I had no trouble installing the patch, but when I start the game it still shows as version 1.10 not 1.11? is this supposed to be? I see all the new multiplayer games when I browse around? just haven't found a game to try it on.

But this is how to install the 1.11 patch

1st you must have the ISO version of the game the ripped will still fade but the ISO will not
then you uninstall the game and delete the codemasters folder then reinstall the game after it is installed DO NOT USE any crack exe this is why the 1.11 patch looks for the Org.EXE so after it is installed the do the reg file then the patch then the rpg and law fix..then you should be up and running

when i install the cracked upgrades 1.2 or 1.3 ... the install say many erros and compare files in DIR game...

when the errors come, the upgrades install or not?
