Instructions:

1.-- Install Game, update to latest version + No-DVD.
2.-- Download the Conversion and extract to HD, (not in game folder)
2a.- Move _CommonRedist to Conversion output folder. (Last DVD)

3.-- Run DiskSpan_GUI Choose Input/Output folder, Choose compression method
4.-- Test the conversion, before burning ISO.

Does not work during conversation, the steam and gog version is mistaked

wich version of Diskspan_Gui is this 1.0.0.0 or 1.0.0.1
if this is an old version the you have to use the new one from Conversion
i see this there is a to litte information in the Log file of the Conversion
take a lookt here

Try to unpack with DiskSpan_Gui.exe (after compression is done, click on "Unpack" button).

Well after 9.5 hours conversion time it crashed last 2% splitting data.bin1 so not good as give up with it not wasting all thast time again doing will concentrate on other games instead as get them done in less than 3 hours...

And my system Amd Ryzen 5600 3600mhz, 32gb Ddr4 Ram windows 10 x64 pro latest version and over 12tb storage as which this went to 4tb backup so plenty of space to do these as always use lots storage and then do iso to 8tb backups...

And game is GOG version got for free of GOG as well and prefer the Ultra Arc version as can re-run them at point stopped at if ever stop working...

Maybe try to change the settings

Resources\DS_Settings.ini

if you don't like my conversions, please don't use them. because I also spent 10-15 hours a day creating them. When I read such comments, I find it hard to think about creating conversions at all. I also don't know what users
are always doing wrong when their conversions aren't working

Not make anything wrong. Was set for installation drive F: 4tb win 1.65 left for installs, selected 6 for compression mode as always do that for games as go to dvd9 all mine I do to save discs, and set output dirctory where this installed which is drive H: 5tb space and most upto date windows and drivers as well. So why stop last 2% if all wrong as would stop well before that as some others do..

Try with disable UA mode as described here (or just use the new version in first post).

i see a space between b and t4 change that then it goes without problems
and load the new updated Version in First post

Going to try again before go bed so see how goes then, done lot of your conversions and only have couple get problems rest are fine, I'll get info when finished so see difference if any..

You say you're 'wasting time' when you should be thankful for these conversions which judging on your last comment have worked successfully many times. The conversion creators spend a lot more time creating these than 'you' do failing with them, be grateful and accept that sometimes there will be errors. It's just like gambling, every horse you bet on is not going to win, in fact you probably will bet on more losers than winners. Be thankful for the conversions and that you have access to them for FREE!

mausschieber, your hard work and many hours of work you put into each conversion installer shows up on all your installers, they look great and like I have said before you have progressed so much since you first started. Do not let one ungrateful member deter you. You know when something doesn't go right for him he is the first to complain and not just give a constructive useful comment as feedback as to what the problem may actually be. I for one appreciate your efforts as I am sure there are so many more members here that also appreciate your hard work and time .... all for FREE and for ALL to ENJOY. ;)

Done this again and used the custom settings and did better as well that way.

And used settings you suggested as well KAKTOR so not on my side the error but will try other ways as won't give up do these things as done The Room Trilogy and did the four games together now as there's four and got 4.81gb for all four of them from a 16gb install folder.

the interval between b and t appears only in the post, it is not present during the conversation

Try this:
1) Go to the "Resources" folder and open the "DiskSpan_x64.ini" file with notepad.
2) Change the value to 75 as shown below and save the "DiskSpan_x64.ini" file.
3) Try to compress again.

Here in some previous tests using xtool_reflate I was only able to compress without errors using -t75p.
It may also work for xtool_preflate (do the test).

I changed from 100 to 75 and no error worked
running error 203 at 04337521

Thanks a lot. compressor and installer works well.

Use normal "xzlib+srep+lolz" (method 8 I think) and it well compress in 4 DVD! :D
