You need of all game files because every file has a different encryption key.

Good News this tool decrypt main game files ( 58 GB ) and can be expanded well by xtool
Bad news the game doesn't work properly with decrypted files esp. update files ,
In brief the tool works well with files bigfile.00x.tiger , not update or ultra or languages

I'm really not going to do anything.

I don't have a good sample, someone sent over "bigfile.update1.000.002.tiger" and I had no idea what I was supposed to do with it.

So a sample is still needed

Furthermore the decryption tool doesn't seem to come with source code so coming up with a decryption tool that works with Freearc may be problematic.

I tried to reverse engineer the program and even though I am not good at this, it doesn't seem to difficult to decrypt the game though.

Bro, what method can be used for expand main game files with xtool ?

In the Fitgirl Setup installer resources of the game, there is a file that caught my attention called tiger.exe. I imagine it must be the file that encrypt *.tiger files again, but idk how to use it.

FitGirl uses this with FreeArc, if you look in setup arc.ini you'll see

[External compressor:tiger]
header = 0
unpackcmd = tiger.exe c - - <stdin> <stdout>

..so yes, FitGirl created this tool (or, more likely, was given by someone..) and it does encodes .tiger files back but not CRC perfect so he uses xdelta (or similar) to correct small differences in files after they are encoded back.

Since FitGirl never shares given tools (or ones created by himself), you ca'nt use this tool since to use it you should have "decoder" part that goes into arc.ini like (for example)

packcmd = tiger.exe d - - <stdin> <stdout>
but since FitGirl never shares tools (I'm not judging, just saying..) decoder part is, of course, missing from this exe

To sum it up, FitGirl has tiger.exe that can be used to decrypt/encrypt .tiger with arc.exe but you can forget about getting it.

I tried to encrypt files again but i wasnt lucky :(

Meanwhile i upload a sample file, alternatively if you can download a (*.tiger) file from Steam Rip Torrent.

I'll check it out, but do remove the torrent before a mod sees it else you'll be in so much trouble :)

Sorry for asking again but did you managed to check out this encryption/decryption? :o I can decrypt .tiger files without any problem with TigerDecrypt but I've been unable to encrypt them back... It seems that Fitgirl is the only one managed to encrypt files back (no matter if it is not bit-perfect, I can always use xdelta to fix small differences).

unfortunately seems that no source is given and nobody managed to create xtool plugin to be able to encrypt files back. 150GB+ game and unable to compress because of encryption, disaster. :(

Maybe someone know how to compress this game? Because the game didn't support again from developer

Not possible, because we don't have the ability to re-encrypt the files back to original.

if you see fitgirl results , is it not re-encrypt ?

The decrypter tool from Gh0stBlade got an update I guess. Try with this.

But I don't know if the game will be playable with decrypted files to be honest. Try for yourself.
