1) Install the game

2) Extract 'AC4_3xDVD5_2xDVD5.7z.001 ... AC4_3xDVD5_2xDVD5.7z.004' contents (not in game folder)

3) Launch Compress.bat & wait...

4) Burn or make isos with label names of your choice

Requirements for conversion: at least 1.7 gb of free ram is required.

Does it have proper regentries for further patching?? It was always issue with recent Ubisoft games

All uplay game entries are inserted.
I don't know if the retail patches will work with it.

i think they have always some Uninstall registry which they use for patching but i amn not sure with AC4 (still didnt got my key)

i have 20Go of space and 4Go RAM !!! same error several times !!!!

Tested on win7 x86 & win7 x64: 8 gb ram, 500gb of free space.
20 gb of free room are not enough!

However try to disable msc compression, extract and replace the file on conversion folder.

works perfect in win 8 64 bits and win 7 32 bits thanks peter.

Well convo done and took about 2hr on 8gb mem win7 64bits and 500gb hard drive ;)

2 x dvd5 d1: 4.02gb - d2: 1.76gb

and works fine as well ;):)

common guys :-D why making EFIGS installer when the game si MULTI18

When start prog it asks if want keep multi player (mp) files so therefore you select no if not and it will do single player (sp) only and just 2 discs in size i have should have in convo now. It does take bit time do but it works ;):)

What was removed from the game in the conversion to 3 DVD5.

Could you add support for DLCs? I've just finished the conversion, installed from conversion and compared and got a couple of differences.. Important ones are that some DLCs were excluded. I know it's an easy fix. Just reporting it.

LOL, the error is not from conversion's Compress.bat.

It means that precomp didn't find any "pre-compable" zlib streams.

Only Support\Common folder is moved to the root of 1st DVD5.

Extract & replace the file to conversion folder, delete Data3.bin and then re-launch Compress.bat.

I meant that:
You used wrong Compress.bat /data.lst or there are missing files/folder in your game folder.
In your screenshot the size of your data3.bin is 10211 bytes. WTF?

Mine fits :D, however compression memory incremented , now you shouldn't have problem to fit it.

Extract & replace the file in conversion folder, delete data5.bin (from AC4_3xDVD5_2xDVD5\AC4\Disk2) and then re-launch Compress.bat. ;)

when click setup come up this error what problem?

Friend of mine got runtime error (at276:16740): the source file is corrupted right after splash appeares
on the same files that works great for me (he fet )
... strange

The 2x DVD5 setup.exe is not included in conversion archive to make it smaller :D,
it's generated by differential binary patch from the 3x DVD5 one (bspatch was used, it works like Xdelta).
I suggest to run batch as Administrator and close all active apps especially antivirus during conversion.
However for those who have got problems, here it is.

DVD2 is 30MB overloaded, I used the new arc.cl you provided.

hey Peter, nice work. I see you're still closed-source - would be nice to have your .iss script for this game. I'm sure you have your reasons, though...

Don't include in Data7.bin (3x DVD5) or in Data5.bin (2x DVD5) the following files:

1) Delete the above files from game's installation folder.

2) Delete Data7.bin (3x DVD5) or Data5.bin (2x DVD5) from conversion folder.

3) Re-launch the Compress.bat.
