Just noticed registering doesn't work properly, seems to be a script bug but have fixed it already. Will do some tests. If all is good, new fixed Setup.exe will be shared in a hour.

KaktoR 10-06-2018 13:27

Update:
Problem only appears if your game installation is as follow:
[Drive]\[GameFolder]\AppFiles\AppxManifest.xml

KaktoR 10-06-2018 13:49

Fixed Setup added.

-Setup will now registering application after install correctly (AppxManifest.xml must be in [Drive]\[GameFolder]\AppFiles folder).
-Desktop shortcut now creates properly and working.

kaktor i test install finish but no have icon on start menu maybe i miss before conversation use dir to only Appfiles folder not Appxmanifest.xml? in folder game? and uwp support another Drive? because in test install on D:

KaktoR 12-07-2018 02:01

There should be a icon on start menu. However, you will have a icon on desktop which works fine too.

Just make sure your folder structure is like this:
[GameFolder]\AppFiles

In [GameFolder] there is only the AppFiles folder.
In AppFiles folder there should be all game files (+ AppxManiefest.xml)

Yes UWP supports other drives, not only C:\, but only with UWP Tools. If you use a legit copy of the game (directly through Windows Store), you must install the game on [SystemDrive]\Users\[UserName]\UniversalApps\[OriginalGameFolderName]

This froze on me after half hour of running and had to completely reset my system to do anything else. And I am on windows 10 newest updates so don't know why. Did crackdown 3 which is windows 10 game no problem with that one either...

KaktoR 18-03-2019 15:12

Check your hardware. Sounds like a RAM issue.

I have 16gb ram and over 10tb space and never had any troubles with other games just this one and the Quantum break and apart Xcom 2 which sorted as Pakrat sorted the ultraArc had trouble with, all the rest works fine soon as do them so no worries on them at all as even did hitman 2 full conversion no probles either as that was a big install.

pakrat2k2 20-03-2019 07:41

@Steveboss

Read the entire first page as to where the game is expected to be other then on Drive C ( its a special location for C ) . but other then that how are you compressing the game
Ultraarc or Diskspan ?

Stveboss 25-04-2019 10:04

Did this again and I got to ge this going and it went all the way to end of Dat.bin.01 with about 20 seconds left and then get this error "WARNING: FreeArc returns an error in archive Data1.bin.001 Do you want to try again? [Y/N]:" and there is only Diskspan no UltraArc in folder which thought strange as UltraArc is best to use in my opinion. Game plays well and took about hour install it and nothing wrong in Appfiles either as last time played got error message but not now as windows is fully updated as states need to be. Will install C: drive as I have it installed on F: drive where all games are put and see if that makes a difference with Diskspan as that all got to use in folder.

pakrat2k2 26-04-2019 05:20

@Stveboss, then grab ultraarc files from other conversions youve done & add them to this one.
