I didn't get what u mean after step 3.......I don't have Max Payne 3 DVD9 disks.i have Max payne 3 special edition that was release on net and it is around 28.3 GB setup with many iso files of about 1.96 gb each.what should i do. help...............

and yeah one more thing.....will i get lossy quality video and audio after compression...........

It doesnt matter what you have as version of ME3. If you have Redist folders, peter said that you should move them to their appropriate place according to conversion. If you dont have it, skip the step and dont install them during conversion.

No, AFAIK it's lossless conversion.

i have a problem in Max Payne 3 INNO setup 4xDVD5. After compressing i can't run setup.exe [its just popup and dissappear].I have looked in forum to find similar problem and i found one but i can't understand what u told there. [Type (DOSShell) in conversion................]. Also i am bit naive in these kinds of things,so please tell me how to solve the problem. I have spent 14hrs to compress this thing and even deleted the original one.:confused:

Open regedit and then delete the following registry entry:

there is no such entry in regedit. is there a way to do it manually.

make your ISO's and try installing from those. Dont run from HD.

You should still have game installed from original version, so entries should be there.
Once you complete the conversion, you uninstall original version, mount iso's to install from conversion iso's.

Disk1 - 3.87
Disk2 - 4.75 (this is not supported by iso dvd5)
Disk3 - 4.36
Disk4 - 4.31

Install the game normally, let it update to version (Max Payne 3 Update v1 0 0 113). all DLC installed. final weight of the game folder.
