Only if you use treshold=100 (which I recommend because output will be smaller).

If you leave it on 30 (standard) then it's not the x2 size of the game (it depends on size then)

I'm trying to make complete Arkham Asylum with all DLCs. Been using ISCAB, but the damn thing gives me a headache. Every time I get an error message I also get layout.bin with 0B.
When I finally removed and replaced files, tried to put additional files and directories inside. Ended up with empty cab files now.
Is there a program that can manipulate InstallShield cabinet files like i6comp did? No way I'm gonna start this all over with ISCAB.

Been using Orca 3 for a long time now, haven't cross my mind to check for an update. Now I have V5, so thanks for that and Joe Forster for useful post.
But I don't see how to edit MSI database, since there isn't one.
Sorry, maybe I should've been more specific. There is data1.hdr and 5 cab files.
Probably done with InstallShields InstallScript (no MSI) Project.

You can request game Conversions HERE in the Requests Thread. It does not guarantee they will be made but you can ask and hope that someone does create it for you. Follow the instructions in the first post and supply all the details needed.

I'm trying to do my first conversion on a game in my Steam library. I've installed it and applied a NoCD fix. Now I am trying to set up the _CommonRedist for it, but it's using Steam's integrated redistributables. How can I find out what redist I need to download and include?

I don't think so. Fitgirl Compressed 110GB files of Arma 3 near 50% (instead of about 10% of methods I tested)

Hey, I've been testing several compression methods for each game but it's taking me way too long to find the best method per game. So far I've found lolz and lzma/lzma2 to be the best compressors. Does anyone know the single best compression method I should use to compress most games at a relatively small size?

I forgot to mention that I'm using DiskSpan GUI.

Hey guys, I'm looking for a section on here that has tutorials for converting files like shrinking WAV or BIK files. I have some tools already, but I'm hoping to find better ways to use them, and maybe some new tools as well. I've been looking through some threads, but it seems like most of them are talking about compression, which isn't exactly what I'm looking for. Do I need to keep digging or am I in the wrong place?
