thx a lot. :D :D

Ther's no need for a mini-image to play the game without cd. You only have to change the compatibility of FM.EXE to windows NT (right click mouse=>properties=>compatibility=>windows NT) You can now play the game without cd.

Enjoy

WD13th_Rattler 25-10-2005 17:02

BINGO!

Turned compatibility to Win NT, shut off Daemon and ran it with Anti-Blaxx....worked like a charm!!!!! Thanks!

martillox 25-10-2005 18:07

we warned you guys
forget about antiblaxx, you will regret it

antonk 25-10-2005 21:52

Nothing works for me, I've use Antiblaxx, Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120, all those virtual drive hiding programs, I keep getting an error that says fm.exe has to be shut down. Anybody else having this problem?

The funny thing is, when I got the game working that one time, I didn't have to change compatibility or anything all of you are suggesting, I just had Daemon Tools and Antiblaxx on and ran the game through Antiblaxx without selecting to mount the image and I had Safedisc as the protection.

Hmm, I don't know if this could be the problem, but when I got it at first I installed the image on a cd and deleted the image, and then I got it to work and then it didn't work after that, I created an image off the cd that I made from the Image I downloaded, do you think that could be why it hasn't worked.

leezer3 26-10-2005 01:08

You will get no support for Warez here :)
Enjoy the ban!!

Just follow the steps a couple steps above and you don't need a image, patch or even a program like antiblaxx. Just set the compibility of FM.EXE to WINDOWS NT.

There's no need for antiblaxx or mini image or other, just Daemon and S4h and the image...

Joe Forster/STA 26-10-2005 03:05

Guys, if any CD emulator hider messes up your Alcohol 120% and/or Daemon Tools then remember that both are installed with Windows Installer which is a quite smart one. If you start uninstalling the application or you start the installation package with the application already installed, you will probably see a "Repair" function. That should copy the proper files and registry entries back where they belong. You may have to reboot but then the emulator should back in working order...! Good luck!

I changed compibility of FM.exe (v 6.0.1) to WINDOWS NT, but it doesn't work. When i start the game, it say "Please insert of correct CD-ROM" . I don't use any program, such as Alcohol, Deamon, Anti-blaxx. I have only direstory with installed game and i haven't any image of the game.
So how i can run the game?
ArsenalFc You made mini-image, for yourself. Can you put it at the forum, or send me by mail? I haven't full image, so i can't make it.

IMALiam 26-10-2005 05:41

me too@arsenal.. i dont have the Image! I'm so ****in stupid, and have deleted  ... We speak about FM 2006 from Sigames/Sega or?

Then it wont work!

You need Daemon Tools installed with the your .mdf image loaded (after install)......then your FM.exe executable set to run in 'compatibility mode' (Win NT)......... :)

Right click Daemon in taskbar while running and select 'Emulation'...then 'All Options On'.........

Forget about BLAXX and Virtual-Hide/SR-Stop etc etc..........you dont need em!

Works great! :D

scaramonga answer for me.

He says the truth ! :D

Why seems so difficult understand what is the difference between an image and a MINI image ?? :p
Use that f**kin' image to install the game !!!!

Sergio_V 26-10-2005 05:54

IMALiam You are stupid! Not me!
I download from _www.cmukraine.org.ua_ a LITE version of Sigames Football Manager 2006. I download it, because it size = 50Mb. Only 50Mb, not 700Mb!!!
Now, IMALiam, you understood, why i haven't full image of FM2006? So i asked, who can send me by e-mail mini-image of SIGAMES FOOTBALL MANAGER 2006.

scaramonga 26-10-2005 05:57

A) If you have the original CD, you can easily make an image of your CD using alcohol or whatever you want.....then use this image (with alcohol or daemon to install).

B) If you don't have the original cd (   ) how did you setup the game ?? (...probably you used an image.....)

Joe Forster/STA 26-10-2005 06:11

For your information, the archive that Sergio_V downloaded, a so-called "Chocolate Edition", is a fully functional but still copy protected rip of the FM2006; I just checked it out, out of curiosity. (Damn, my Russian is rusty... :( Anyone can gimme a full-sized picture of that yummy girl, full in chocolate?! :D)

Sergio_V 26-10-2005 06:18

I downloaded archive a so-called "Chocolate Edition". Its fully functional, but it size only 50 MB. It is FM2006 (Sigames), but without sound, foto, languages (only English) and skins.
So i haven't full image, but have a game.
Mini-umage - it's image with size 1-10 MB, not a 700MB. In FM 2005 mini-image have size around 3 MB.

P.S. Sorry for my bad English

I think that up-to-date there is NO mini image to use with FM2006.

There are only workarounds to use a full image (from CD) for playing without having the CD into the drive.

Those w/a work great on both Windows (Xp & 2k).

I'm sorry, Sergio, but that's all. ;)

ok ok..but have you installed the Offical Patch? Run the game with the same preferences?!

No. I haven't mini image. I haven't full image. I haven't any image.
I have Sigames Football Manager 2006 LITE (so-called Chokolate Edition). It is small, but fully functional. But, it want a original CD with FM2006.
Arsenal F.C. made a mini-image: he began made in Alcohol a new image from downloaded full image (or from original CD), but stop a process after few seconds. And game with this mini-image (made by Alcohol, it size a few Mb) work (he said). I can't make mini-image as Arsenal F.C. because I haven't original CD or full image.
So, i ask - who can send me a mini-image, that will work, but it size will be no more than 10-15 MB. I need only mini-image, i don't need full (700Mb) image.

I am having problems playing the game. I have did that Windows NT thing but after a while playing a message pops up: FM 2006 is running low on memory please quit. It can't be my computer. I have 1024 DDR Ram and 3.2 ghz but that happens every time..

If you mean 6.0.1, the answer is YES.

And it will!

This is a problem with running in NT Compatibility Mode!

Did you try to use the win2K w/a on WinXp ?
I'm not sure it works 'cause i didn't test it, but there's no reason to not work...

ArsenalFc 26-10-2005 08:33

WHOAH, Calm down people!!!!

Firstly, Sergio_V I didn't make the mini image, I just discovered it doesn't work, and I wasn't the first, so don't credit me with that, it wasn't my work! The image I made was a FULL image of MY ORIGINAL CD. Like hundreds of others have.

Secondly, If you are on Windows XP, YOU DO NOT NEED TO CHANGE COMPATIBILITY. With D-Tools running, and the image mounted, use the s4h program, click hide, give it 20 seconds or so to make sure it's finished then run the game. That's all. Changing compatibility will cause the memory low errors

Antonk, or whoever it was whose game keeps failing on them - I had this too.I think it's anti-blaxx's doing. Uninstall the game from ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS. do NOT do it from the FM2006 setup on the cd/image. Reinstall it and you should be fine to go. That worked for me! (I'm on XP Pro)

Whoever got the 50mb "flavoured" copies, well done you downloaded either a bogus (possibly viral) file, or the demo.

For whoever asked, I'm not Italian, London born n bred. Me ol' china.

So. Install the game. If you have it installed and it's being troublesome, uninstall it and reinstall it
Uninstall antiblaxx
start D-Tools
mount the image
Open s4h
Click hide
Give it a few seconds (I found if you immediately open FM2006 you're not giving it enough time and it asks for the disc. If this happens, click Restore in s4h, wait 10 seconds, click hide, wait ten seconds)
Run the game.

For Windows 2000 I don't know if you need a different method, I only have XP Pro, but let me know if the s4h method works as well as it does on XP.

To save confusoin here, feel free to PM me FOR ADVICE.

I will NOT send any images. I will NOT send any mini images. The only thing I WILL send is a link to s4h and I WILL report anyone who requests image files.

Creating an image

Hi

I have gone to create an image of my CD but one hour has gone and I'm at 1% - should it really take this long? Does it speed up at all? I'm using Alcohol 120% to do this but all I get are read errors (which I understand are normal for the first 3%) but is it really going to take days to create this image?

Cheers for your help

Elky

leezer3 26-10-2005 09:54

Its because your CD drive doesn't support the fast error skip function. Go away & leave it for a couple of hours and you will be fine.

-Leezer-

scaramonga 26-10-2005 10:02

Its been said MANY times!!

DO NOT use ANTI-BLAXX!

DO NOT use SR-STOP!

DO NOT use Virtual-Hide!

USE a PROPER .mdf image created from your ORIGINAL copy!

USE Daemon Tools!

:)

Make sure your image is .mdf format, from Alcohol 120%
Install Daemon Tools, mount the .mds image and EXIT DAEMON TOOLS. This means it should NOT be running in your taskbar at all!
Install and run AntiBlaxx. Right click on the icon in your taskbar and click on Settings.
Click the button next to Deamon Tools in the popup window and browse to the .exe file.
In the "Protection" box select "SecuROM 5"
Click the button next to the "Game" field and browse to the fm.exe file wherever you installed the game.
Tick the box that says "Mount Image", make sure that the circular box next to Daemon Tools to the right of this is selected, then click the button next to the Image box and browse to the mds file. Finally make sure device is set to Device 0 (assuming you didn't ceate additional virtual drives in Daemon Tools)

When all this is done, make sure Daemon Tools IS NOT RUNNING and right click the anti-blaxx icon, go up to Run Game and select the only one in there (default name is simply Gamename).

Now it will seem like nothing is happening. Double click the FM2006 shortcut on your desktop and an error box apppears saying the game is already running. Click the button to close that error message and wait a moment, the game will load. After that you should be able to run it from antiblaxx everytime you want to play.

AntiBlaxx show me this msg
1) [An error occured during loading the settings! All settings are restored.]
2) [Anti-Black generates a backup automatically. Pleased ..............]
3) [Run-time error '5': Invalid procedure call or arguement.]

what exactly happen?
