He mean an entry "Scan with Protection_ID" in the context-menu of a file.

i have to add some registry entries to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT
and you should be able to scan an exe, dll or dat when right clicking on it and select "scan with Protection ID"

i´m searching some tutorials about how to do this.
can u also search tutorials for TASM like
"adding own contect menu"...

maybe there are some TASM coders in this forum who can help.

I can do the regedit part with the setup file I first created to you. (if you like the setup file, if you do I might need if you whant a Licence agreement and I should convert your HTML file TXT file with your permittion)
I've still got the template ;) So is no ther should be a big deal to reg and unreg with the setup file.
I already mannage the desktop icon thing.
(you can do it public for those who whant. Or they can request to me.)

Don't know if it name is "Protection ID" or "Protection_ID".
I think it's not so important, or?
(But the file name is PROTECTION_ID.EXE, so i was thinking that's the name.)

There is Protection ID V2.1 for download, but i have downloaded V2.2 a few days ago.... ?

i´m still searching for another webhoster.

i don´t want to change to nasm... i´m staying with tasm it´s good and fast ;)

i guess ill have to bridge the gap between the 2 this summer then ;)

version 2.4 will be release into the next 2-3 days.
it supports securom with random sections, wich us used in some newer securom games and of course other bugfixes.
