No Problem!
Just use your favorite Hex Editor. Open Sims2.exe and search for the hex-value 63656E736F72, replace them all with 63656E733330 and your done!

This money crack works perfectly in my winxp installation... but on my GF's win98 SE machine it doesnt... It still prompts me to insert correct CD/DVD. Any idea why?

I have question... I have sims2 and when i start game is ok, window started, i see electronic arts logo (movie) and NOTHING!? some error and game exiting... i don't know, maybe somebody know what this is? What is problem? i have 4 cd's version (logic) crack is pasted, ehhh... i dont know! help me please! PLEASEE!

Have you replaced all? There are 4 places where you have to do this in the file! (that's what the bm.exe does!)
If you do it, it works definetly!

If u get an error box and no message then it's because your using the no cd exe with the image file u use in alcohol. I don't know about the new money one but that used to happen with the old one.

and what can i do now? please help, it's not for me, it's for my girlfriend :confused:

Try the new Money Crack (NoDVD) and put the 00000001.TMP from CD1 on harddisk, e.g. C:\00000001.TMP or D:\00000001.TMP or something else, or use the mini-alcohol image, mount it and then start the game. (You find the Money-Crack and the mini-image on GCW!)

Maybe Electronics Arts logo suddenly it is cut so as if it was broken down. Can something install bad (this ****ing logo). Maybe *.mdf images are broken down? I put third plate (disc) barely but it wants fourth already. Ehhh help :eek:

i have tried the image files, iSO and MDF it only works with MDF...
i don't have xp sp2 install'd on my pc
i use daemon 343

just install your image files (MDF) with daemon... when u finish unmount the sims image... right click the Daemon icon.. then "Emulation" then click on
"All options ON"
that's all..!!! the build mode is ON!!!!

So, I have a ISO of DVD,
I install the game,crack(of Money in GCW), but when I try to start the game i read a message (In portuguese) "Foi indentificado um software de emulacao de CD/DVD. Desative e reinicie o jogo."
In english than says " It was identified a software of emulation of CD/DVD. it Disables and restart the game."

Anybody can help me ?

It means, that you have installed one or more of this:

CloneCD VirtualDrive
DaemonTools
Alcohol 120%

Just deinstall these progs, or update them to newest version, hoping the newest version aren't blacklisted by this game!

ähm daemon tools 3.47. only safedisc emu on + clonecd 4.202 protectet image with "hide cdr" funktion deaktivated of clonecdtray works fine without any crack....(ea games supoort would tell u that tooo)

why need any crack or nocd fix anymore?
go and buy it it is realy 45,-eu worth

Ok all you have to do to get the Sims 2 to work without the cd all you need to do is:
1.Install the sims 2.
2.Download Daemon Tools 3.47
3.Download the Sims 2 CD Image from http://www.freewebs.com/keepitlegit/Downloads.html
4.Make sure all options and emulation or not ticked
5.Have the set number of devices to 1
6.Mount the extracted file.
7.Just Run the Game!!!

Sims 2 - Building tool not working

I've got a problem with Sims 2. I've made a complete install and later on cracked the game with one of the cracks givin' by Gamecopyworld. But in the game I'm not able to use the building tool at all. I can selcet for example the "wall-tool" but I'm not able not build a wall. I've checked everything, but I don't know what to do! Perhaps one of you has got an idea! Please help!

Can someone confirm the files for the Alcohol Clone version? I have had major problems getting the release to run stably. I've installed from the disc images using the latest version of Acohol and I've mounted every mini image that's available and the game freezes anywhere from 1 minute to 30 minutes of gameplay. Occasionally I can get to the task bar and see that there is a 'Protection Error' task on the taskbar. I assume that this is because the game has detected some type of emulation being used. I've tried the default settings in Alcohol and have also enabled the Bad Sector emulation under Extra Emulation, all to no avail.

I did see that there was a Nuked Money release and am wondering if that's the one that I have. My file list for each image consists of a .sub, a .img, a .ccd, and a .cue file, i.e. disc 1 has these files :

sims2_1.CCD
sims2_1.cue
sims2_1.img
sims2_1.sub

Is this the release that everyone else is using successfully?

I only test on german version of sims2
1. Get the 4 orginal sims2 cds
2. install from cd
3. make protectet image with clonecd 4.202 from the sims2 cd1
4. disable befpr mount game at the clonecdtray the option "hide cdr"
5. get daemon tools 3.47 an enable only safedisc
6. mount cd1

type ingame CTRL+SHIFT+C for the console then type:
intprop censorgridsize 0
for the nude patch
go www.x-sims.de for the nude sims 2 skin and play with your nude sims2.....

I've read this thread and followed the steps that tipstaff gave but it still doesn't work for me. I backed up the original exe so that I wouldn't have to bother installing again when trying the no cd patches. I always end up getting a blank error message when I try using the daemon tools with the mini image or any of the patches now. Any one have an idea as to why this would happen. My plan is to format my computer and see if that has anything to do with it. I also have alcohol installed but not clone cd if that matters. I would mainly like to know why I get the blank error message and how to get rid of that.

As I said already in this thread (somwhere) with the mini images you use the ORIGINAL exe not a cracked one.

The error window appears (empty one) when u use the mini images with a cracked exe.

Threads been a sticky for ages now, and you can count on 2 hands the worthwhile posts (and most of them were made by the same people). Heck, I still dont know if theres a working crack for the game ;)
Anyways, unstuck and closing. Need to make a room for the next big game. And its a big one. :)

If the threads get out of hand for this game*, then I'm sure 1 of the mods will throw up another sticky.
