It appears the directory slicer creates duplicate files at times, and the duplicate file remover removes files that aren't really duplicate but probably has the same CRC or whatever it maybe. Could you look into this?

10 minutes and I build program to remove files, with creating a backup folder the files removed..;)

Try..:)

Very nice! One last feature request, if I may? Make the backup of the duplicate files with their original location/sub directories if possible? This will save a ton of work too.

But this is laziness, simply in case of restoration of files, searching in the parent directory the name of the folder in the backup by replacing everything as it was before..;)

Not laziness, truth be told.

Sometimes the duplicate file remover removes files from support web pages, and it makes things so difficult! But it's understandable.

is it any better than msc ??
thanks in advance :D

felice2011 25-11-2015 15:50

mm?

This is part of you dlg script ... you use that mm method ...for media compressing right ?

felice2011 26-11-2015 00:34

The question refers in this section http://www.fileforums.com/showthread.php?t=96298...Dlg Kompressor does not use the option Multimedia compression..:)
The -mm option natively included in the first version of FreeArc 040 using the method TrueAudio, adding filter GRZIP and MM at the command line.
I have not used for a long time, but if I remember correctly is addressed for better compression on audio files, less on video.

You might try to make a comparison between..with the same files.

HTML Code:

-msrep+mm+delta+lzma:a1:mfbt4:d192m:fb273:mc1000:lc8
&
HTML Code:

-mmsc+srep+delta+lzma:a1:mfbt4:d192m:fb273:mc1000:lc8
;)

panker1992 26-11-2015 08:28

Yes i was trying to make the comparison but its futile since as you said trueaudio and mm + grzip only compress audio.
msc handles many more formats :P

felice2011 26-11-2015 09:48

In fact i do not use it a long time, it is an option which I do not use more in the compression methods, it msc is preferred.:)

Pulcione86 30-01-2016 01:41

E' possibile implementare anche nanozip?
