if you have problems running gta after driver or monitor upgrade try removing the *.set file in your gta user files directory :)
|
the GTA: San Andreas [ALL] No-CD/Fixed Image that can be found on GCW doesn't work with demon tools v3.47
|
It does work, but you have to change settings or use Anti-Blaxx to get it to work.
|
it can't work coz it has no mdf so dt cannot mount ;)
|
It doesnt?
Are we talking about the same image? :P |
Works for me, all you do is
Goto mount image, when selecting the image change the file types to all and mount the .mir image it will work |

So it would be great if you could say us what are your specific settings, or just tell us how to use Anti-Blaxx. |
Anti-Blaxx has numerous tutorials on its on site I do believe :)

I've tried it with demon-tools 3.47 changing the default name for the scsi port and it didn't work. I've tried it with latest alcohol 120% (v1.9.5b2802) and it didn't work too. So, wft ? PS : now i got a virtual cd which is permanently present after uninstall of all this softs and a reboot, so THANKS A LOT !!! |
Hey not my problem your too dumb to figure it out!
Instead of being sarcastic to me, seing as I cant be here 24/7 and type out lines of text to help everyone. I tried to help you get it running from your backup. Now you can set Anti-Blaxx to not run on startup if you bothered to change settings. Also You cant run the game with both Alcohol and Daemon Virtual drives on at same time. Disable alcohol if you want, keep daemon running. When you mount the backup image, enable the emulation on daemon and close the program and keep all emulation running when asked to do so. Now load up anti-blaxx, tell it what protection you want to use and point to the game exe and give the setting a name, then run the game via anti-blaxx. It should run. It is that easy. Again dont start bawling and shouting at me for trying to help you. Not my fault you cant understand how to work it. Is that what you people do all the time, someone recommends something you fire it on and you go mad cause you cant work it? Did you even sit and try to work it out? No? If this is all too much, there is a no-dvd on the GCW. |
he you think I'm sarcastic ? Do you really know what that word means...
Your last answer was sarcastic... I'm not a newbie. I'm in the party for 10 years now. I've already done all you said before (and before you said it in your last answer !) as I wrote in my last post and the fact is : it doesn't work. That's all. I know there's a no-DVD, but I don't like no-DVD. And I confirm that now, with demon and alcohol and anti-blaxx uninstalled, there is still a virtual dvd-reader and I can't remove it (and now that's my problem n°1 !). |
@frisk
Hmmm, I fail to see how Dabhand was sarcastic? Whereas your 'THANKS A LOT' comment was definately being sarcastic! The advice/help you were given was fair advice? It wasnt sarcasm? Re-install which ever program created the virtual drive, then you should be able to remove it, then if you want you can uninstall the program again if you dont really want it. |

And you were right finally, last DABhand answer wasn't sarcastic, it was arrogant and insulting. |
@frisk
