Hey,

I've got the game working using the 80kb image, but my question is, do i have to unplug my CD drives each time i want to play? or just the once to get the CD key to work?

Thanks

WailinChieftain 11-09-2004 18:20

You gotta unplug them whenever you want to play the game. Sorry dude.

Soldiers WW2

I found that the secret here is that you must use a VERY good quality CD like i used a Verbatim and it works but a cheaper cd does not and use 1 speed to burn with also follow the NFO closely

lol,

now my computer won't boot up without the cd drives pluged in

any suggestions?

I cant get this game to work. I couldn't burn a cd so i mounted the image i have with daemon tools (which is also how i installed the game). But keep getting "Disk Key Error" i have tried entering both cd keys available. Nothing works. I also tried the mini image here. Cant get it to work. Where do i extract the mini-image to??? Can someone please help me with this? I gotta get this game going It looks great.

Thanks in advance.

The easiest way to get this game to work is to use your original CD to play!
How did you get two CD Keys?

hi sgtshaft,

I've cant run Port royale 2 , probably has the same protetion !

do you really need to make an alternate start up image or can you use the emulation (rmps and stuff) from deamon tools with the original image ?

if so how did you make it ?

many thanx in advance !

I dont think its sf3, I think its VOBprotectCD 5 use the newest version of alcohol to burn it, that should do the trick.

I've disabled CD/dvd in bios and also disabled it in windows. I mount the image and start the game. Its stands there a while checking the cd and at the end it says "disk key error".

" The disk you entered does not correspond to the disk in the disk drive.
Make sure you use the correct disk key"

Can anyone please tell me what can I do?? DO i really need to unplugg the power from the CD too??
