where do i drop the no cd crak??

There have been known issues with the latest Cat drivers from ATI, 3.8 and now 3.9 apparantly making the game crash. I was running the 3.8 with no problems with other games but COD kept crashing, I reverted back to 3.7 and it has resolved the problem.

May be worth a try if your running an ATI card, I dont know how specific it is per card but im running a 9800 Pro.

crash eh.... why don't you send over information to Catalyst support. so they can work on it to the next releas! :D

The game is tested and supported with 3.7, if you read the readme file. And you can also see what setting you should use to provent crashing. I'm runnit 3.9 and it works great without crashes.

I personally hadnt tried 3.9 but heard there were issues, I did try 3.8 though and had probs so reverted back to 3.7. Will try 3.9 and see what happens.

Apparently disabling fast writes in the catalyst Smartgart options screen vastly improves stability in 3.8 and 3.9 without any/minor loss in performance:)

why not just get a geforce fx card i no there a nags wind slower but you will never have driver problems

i am looking to upgarde graphices soon and the geforce still favers to me due to driver problems of ati !!

Im new to this site and just wanted to say..you guys are awsome. With that said i have a problem with call of duty 5. I downloaded the game, and the no cd/dvd patch and i still get a insert correct cd error, as well as a binkw 32 dll not found error. 1st off i put the bink file in both windos, and windos 32 sysyem and when i did the error said that its not susposed to be there. so i removed it and re coped it to the apps forlder tried to run the exe file and now it comes up as saying it cant find the binkw 32 file??? whats wrong. Id i click on multi player the game starts up, but when i clik to co/op single player it ask for the correct disc??

Does this also happen when not using a crack?
