when I was writing this I was downloading fake nocd crack for 1.0 placed on gcw...

Does anyone work on a NOCD crack for cossacks ??

Sorry to spoil everyone's fun, but ive found out that images other than the ones done by Alcohol do not work with Carbon crack, or not at all for that matter. My friend made backups of his .MDF's using Nero and ended up with the Nero images (.NRG). Then he burned them onto CD's and gave them to me to take a look at. First I tried to make it work without mounting images, by simply using the cd's by followed the usual - Carbon patch, restarts and SFnightmare. It didn't work, so then i made images using Nero from those cd's, mounted them and went through the procedure again. Still no luck... :mad: . any comments?

Cossacks 2 is a steaming bag-o-**** and not worth the effort if you want a good cossacks like game go get Imperial Glory, very good adictive game.

Okay, cossacks 2 is like a hairy brown arse hole, so if you like hairy brown arse holes then Cossacks 2 is the game for you.

Works as a demo...because the crack is in fact the demo.

The carbon "crack" works only with the carbon images.

That or I can't get a good backup as good as carbon's. :D

I've just come across a completley starforce clean cossacks 2, tried it and it works, anybody else found this? It may just be that this team has cracked stars**tdump. The secret word is DARKLIGHT. :)

sadly darklight is fake, its the demo exe+dlls, pretty lame, you can save, but cant load, u can play skirmish and tutorial and thats about it... darklight = ****

didnt you even notice those problems when testing the crack or did you just report the 'existance' of the 'crack' before running it?

Read the first few words of my post " I've JUST come across a completely starforce clean Cossacks 2," emphasis on the word "just".

Here is a image of NFO file that comes with darklights nocd crack and their release wasn't nuked (means that everything is fine with this release).
does someone had chance to test this crack originaly from scene?
i've played with carbons nocd but i had to restart computer twice before start so i'm using original cd again... :(

I've Trying to make a backup copy of Cossacks 2 with no sucess untill now.

It seems that DARKLIGHT (A new German Group) has released a new version of Cossacks 2 on the internet, with a patch that seems to work...

if ne1 have tested it...

I would like to hear some who have tested new release personaly and then jugde, not if you have heard from someone on other forum. I'm inquired becouse release wasn't nuked on nforce.com...

A friend had it and says it most defenitly is the demo, he was very angry it took him 2 days to get it. :mad:

too bad... :( so I can just sit and wait for a proper nocd release...

Darklights release included the demo crack. What's the point of this lame release? What, are these just a bunch of dumb kids?

they are total lamers... i dont see the point, the only thing they have done is spending bandwith for nothing useful

it isnt worth, is 2 cd's only... but this is not an answer your question :)

Hi. I have read all the text posted here. I would like to ask the guy which owns the game (even in the italian language) to post the following files:
ENGINE.EXE
PROTECT.DLL
Those files maybe be found either in CD1 or CD2. The ones provided by gamecopyworld.com turns Cossacks2 into demo, so I wonder if we use the original one we might get it done. Well, it's a guess, I think it's worth a try!

Starforce is no harder than any of the other protections. Actually, it's a little easier if you want my opinion.

considering you never managed to crack that securom game, i'll take your comments with a pinch of salt sirmaverick ;p

I ve started the game with the carbon crack and useing the program gamejack 5 it is a virtual cd/dvd emulator, the idea is that it is relatively new and is not supported by starforce 3. I kept up the instruction and Run sfdrvrem.exe, then the sfdrvup.exe and finally the sfdrvpatch.exe. Then I disable the node, CD and channel 2. The game start at once.

I can safely say that if you follow the instructions, this game is very simple to get running. The one thing that every instruction set misses however, is telling you to turn on RMPS and RMPS only with your game image. I did the whole system of removing the protection and such via the patch. The upshot to this is now that i know how starforce works and how to bludgeon it to death, i can finally get around these issues with other titles - like chaos theory (bought) and SH2.

CAN'T SOMEONE JUST MAKE A CRACK :eek:
