a new Darkstar one crack fix just hit the net, it says it is reloaded, but I am not sure of it's authenticity. I will test it out and report back here.

The developers have quoted that the game will not support x64 anyways in any form.

yes appearantly it uses ppf-o-matic to patch the image, keeping ALL english features and still fooling the game to think it is german (I know this cause I crashed and got the german report screen). I don't know where GCW stands on ppf files, but this very format is also used in mods for halo. So far it has worked splendid with me, working with my own image of the game, and it fixed the high prices. Question that stands now is will it work with a mini image?. Currently I am just happy to be able to play the game.

The PPF file can only be used on the pirated ISO image of the game so there's no point in uploading that to GCW... ;) Upload the proper no-CD EXE instead.

Sorry about that, my version did not have a working nfo so I had to guess what was what.. yea I don't even know if the ppf worked on my image, cause the new crack was really a crack.. hehe well at least we got it cleared up ;)

Are the persons in RELOADED dumb ??? We need an 1.2 beta no-dvd not an 1.01 one !

Not everyone supports beta patches; e.g. GCW doesn't either. ;) (Also, don't call the Reloaded team dumb when you're using the results of their hard work for free!)

They probably just wanted to fix their old crack before moving on to a new version (if they are even considering cracking 1.2)

And whats stopping people making their own similar ISO's? Besides it was the exe I got :P

And from what ive heard teams like Reloaded get paid but just not from us :)

@DABhand: Hasn't the PPF fix been fixing problems with the cracked files on the Reloaded image? If so, the same fix won't work with the image of an original CD/DVD!

@HellasVagabond: Fixing (propering) a crack keeps the "cracker scene point" at the team. If they let some other team proper their crack, they lose their "cracker scene point" and lose reputation... ;) Also, I don't care if a cracker team gets money from someone but if we use their cracks for free then who are we to complain about the quality?!

Wish I got paid for making trainers.
