Like it says in the info a group called Project x777, not heard of them before so maybe a splinter group?

I wish I could crack Safedisc, but alas I'm resigned to simple CD Checks in unprotected EXE's :(

Is there any advantage in using this new cracks?

Seeing as they are the cracked files from the DVD version they should be more reliable than the cracks I found. Also, as I stated, the only game to need the DVD using these cracks is Yuris Revenge, so they let more games run without extra cracks being needed.

But again, people need to test these new cracks just like the previous ones!

FYI: the fixed exe for generals from the px777 archive, works with the standalone version of generals (patched to version 1.8) too.

Well something has befuddled me. I was able to use the files mentioned from 777 to make yuri work with out dvd on my laptop. I tested this on another testing computer I have and it worked. So I feel its good to go, and load it on my gaming pc. I can get tib sun, and ra2 to load with out dvd but I cannot get yuri to load with out dvd. Yet I have done the exact same thing to this machine as I did the previous two machines. It still asks me for the yuri disk to load the game. Why would it work on the other machines but not this one? I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck.

SUGGESTIONS?

did you read all posts? For yury you need a file from the old crackpack.

I'll scroll back and see if I missed something, its easy to on a 5 page thread. I'm just scratching my head as to why it the exact setup worked on two other PC's and not on this PC (my gamer)

Maybe you know about Fun Park Missions with dinosaurs in Tiberian Dawn, but I can't make them work. I created a shortcut on C&C95.exe with "funpark -cd" attribute, but when launched, a message "Insert correct CD" appears. I patched the game with 1.01 and 1.02 patches and cracked with the px777 cracks. Anyone having the same problem?
