hmmm, i downloaded the file that was in the thread but all i get is a mod.dll. Is that what is suppose to be in there if so where can i get the exe? because as of now when i patch it and put the other .exe in there along with the mod.dll i get the need to put cd in error.

the one stefan posted has an .exe included.
that one works fine.
be sure to re-patch the game if you used the non-working crack before tho.

... I cannot believe the amount of C**P Stefan is getting from lamer CD-KEY requesters. The crack works fine - it uses identical *byte*for*byte* alterations that have been used for BFV 1.01 and 1.02 patches.

*If your BFV worked before* - whether patched or not - whether using 1.00/1.01/102 - this patch will work - and won't require a CD to start (and maybe not every time you change server)

*If you cannot get BFV to work* - ie. it has a program error, illegal CD-Key request, or *WHATEVER* - this patch WIL NOT fix it, or get your system working...

*I REPEAT* - LAMER ph*kwit wannaby newbie pikey CD-KEY cheaters will not be able use this no-cd patch.

For those of you with an eye for detail, the byte values (not locations) patched within BFVIETNAM.EXE are identical to all the previous 1.01 / 1.02 patches:

*IMPORTANT* If you don't know what to do - don't ask...



*UPDATE BFV to 1.1.14*

Copy the BFVIETNAM.EXE file to BFVIETNAM.ORG (vital!)

Using your favourite hexeditor, edit these bytes in the new BFVIETNAM.EXE (comments on the right - I've had to put in a load of ...'s as the forum post editor tries to remove formatting)

Save the file.

Within the mods\bfvietnam dir, copy mod.dll to mod_org.dll. Copy over an old modified mod.dll from any previous 1.01/1.02 fixed exe/no-cd patch (it hasn't changed)

...don't bother to PM me if you don't understand the above - tough.

thx tiiaz , the good crack is now official crack on gamecopyworld , has about 6 mirrors . i posted the crack on the forum cause this site helped me out alot in the past . i got like 6 games installed right now that i play everyday and its hell switching cds all day and looking for them and gamecopyworld has always everything so i wanted to do something back for them .

and please dont post about cd keys or PM me about it , i really cant help you , and everygame you play is worth the money :)

yeah, i'm willing to host a file or two, i have about 100gigs of bandwidth to spare.. checked lastnight and figured out howmuch bandwidth i use a month..
and i have my money set aside for doom3 in a few days :D , so some of your crackers get ready to getta crackin!;)

does anyone else get an error "please insert either battlefield vietnam CD" after i exit a server and try to join another one? i cant seem to figure this out...

Yes, no-cds have historically sucked for battlefield games. Just exit the game before switching servers.
