I didn't get what u mean after step 3.......I don't have Max Payne 3 DVD9 disks.i have Max payne 3 special edition that was release on net and it is around 28.3 GB setup with many iso files of about 1.96 gb each.what should i do. help...............

and yeah one more thing.....will i get lossy quality video and audio after compression...........

It doesnt matter what you have as version of ME3. If you have Redist folders, peter said that you should move them to their appropriate place according to conversion. If you dont have it, skip the step and dont install them during conversion.

No, AFAIK it's lossless conversion.

i have a problem in Max Payne 3 INNO setup 4xDVD5. After compressing i can't run setup.exe [its just popup and dissappear].I have looked in forum to find similar problem and i found one but i can't understand what u told there. [Type (DOSShell) in conversion................]. Also i am bit naive in these kinds of things,so please tell me how to solve the problem. I have spent 14hrs to compress this thing and even deleted the original one.:confused:

Open regedit and then delete the following registry entry:

there is no such entry in regedit. is there a way to do it manually.

make your ISO's and try installing from those. Dont run from HD.

You should still have game installed from original version, so entries should be there.
Once you complete the conversion, you uninstall original version, mount iso's to install from conversion iso's.

in my pc .bin files has ultraiso image so i used to think they are iso files..

sorry pakrat2k2 i'm little confused...
in 'MP3_v.1.0.0.29.7z' there are only disk 1, 2 and 3, what about disk 4 that instead is present in 'MP3_4xDVD5' ?
And then, have i to use the first conversion with the MP3_4xDVD5 files and use the new setup or use only the 'MP3_v.1.0.0.29.7z' files?

if i'd been paying attention your game version is way past what this conversion can do. so your better off going back to game index & using one from there that can do any version of the game, not one that does up to certain point.

Nope :(, the patchs after v1.0.0.29 add additional files to the game (dlcs), so the game doesn't fit to 4 xdvd5 anymore.
The solution: put the patchs on another dvd!

I should redo the conversion from beginning, no way sry :(
