R6VEGAS_GAME.exe has encounted an error and must shutdown. What is wrong with the exe of this game. I meet all the requirements and the recommended ones too.

Does patch 1.02 fixed this or not because I've tried patch 1.01 and that didn't do nothing

does it work with your original disc in drive?

It`s fixed for me and get newest YASU.exe

Doesn't work for me... Came up again with securom error. Uninstalled it and tried again without patches, exe has encounted an error blah blah blah... :confused:

I guest the only way now is a NO CD CRACK EXE (R6VEGAS_GAME.exe) :mad:

Where is Razor or reloaded!????

I'm in need of some help, I've been trying to get this game playing without the disc. The game runs fine with the disc, but I'm trying to see if I can get it playable without it. I've downloaded the poseden maxi-image from GameCopyWorld, but the image inside of the .rar file is corrupted and when mounted it is inaccessible. I've downloaded and decompressed it multiple times, I even had a friend download it and check it, the result was always the same.

Does anybody know of an alternate location for the maxi-image? Anybody willing to send it to me?

EDIT: Forgot to mention, I have tried MANY different ways of getting this to work, Yasu, CureRom, even the things posted in here. Nothing has worked for me, so I want to give the maxi-image a shot. Hopefully it does the trick.

Have you read the forum FAQ; are you using the latest version of RAR?

I have a proper copy of the game and had problems getting it to run at first....turned out NTL netguard was the problem. Downloaded the auto update of the game and clicked on allow the .exe to communicate with the firewall and now the game plays fine.

Maybe worth disabling your anti-virus/firewall software when installing and playing the game.

Would be nice to find a No-CD exe or similar as have to have the disc in the drive to run the game at present.

No doubt Reloaded or similar will supply one in the coming weeks.

You will get a lot of silly answers.
But otherwise - as HeroFromHyrule mentioned - it may be sports for some people trying to see if they can get a game playable without running their discs. (Not to forget to save their originals from scratches.)

Funny that Barry - that's exactly what I am doing !

It's much less painful than trying to jump through god knows how many hoops to get it working without the DVD dazza.

I guess crackers are now waiting for the game to be patched to a level where they think it's playable enough before releasing a crack, so it still may be a few months before one is released.

When thats out there will be other new games way passed what rainbow six vegas is like even through I haven't got it to work. I'm talking about proper future looking games :cool:. Looking forward to the new Grand theft auto for pc. Grand theft auto san andreas was good :p:rolleyes::o:D:).

Does anyone experience problems loading the mini-image in Windows Vista?

The game is XP only, so use XP and save yourself the hassle of trying to get it running under an OS that's not supported!

I`have Vista and have no problems. Playing the game with mini-image, RB second patch and newest YASU

You won't get technical support if you use Vista though!

So if the game does weird things or crashes while running under Vista then don't expect any support from Ubisoft as the game was never intended for that OS, irrespective of whether it actually works or not under Vista.

I've managed to get onto the exe encounted an error and must shutdown, can't get it to pass through. Tried patch 1.01 and 2!

I use alcohol 120% version 3105 full version, I know its kinda old but it managed to install and bring it up to that exe messege. Do you think it could be my old version is blacklisted????

Hey, rather than messing around with this, I've tested and if you just disable it in Device manager (Right Click My computer > Properties > Hardware > Device Manager > (Name of CD Drive. Mine was NEC DVD + REWRITER) and Double click it. where it says "Device Usage" put it to disable. run the game with Daemon Tools with Securom loaded (I also doubled up and used YASU as well) and it works. Then when you've finished, reactivate the drive in the same way.

This Protection ID v5.2b - the ultimate Protection Scanner, I went to the website, http://pid.gamecopyworld.com/ all I see is it scans the drive where you mount and reads what type of protection it has :confused: How is it a crack? How does it work?

Protection ID DOES NOT crack anything. It just reads what kind of protection (and version number) the game has.

Why do people refuse do read even a few lines what kind of software they use? :(

I´ve seen another crack by iND flying around. Dunno if it is for a retail or patched version.

Don´t need any crack ´till now, as the existing hidertools are working fine for me.

When i was playing the game (version 1.02)...i was in the middle of the firts mission and my computer turned off by its self....did anyone else had that problem?? :p......

yep but apparently the 1.2 is a bad crack, reports of people getting weird messageboxes, running out of ammo and so on...

I've heard mixed results. But it seems as if most people that have problems with the 1.02 crack also had weird problems with the 1.0 crack. I have no problem with either of them

I get a message box about ranked matches every time the game loads or you go back to the main menu

When the weird problems happened, people forgot to update the game. Really funny. When they reinstalled the game, updated properly and applied the crack, the game worked fine.

UBISOFT is the only game company which can't get its games to work properly. They always have to make patches to fix there games.
With other game companys there games work fine without patches.

Most of the games in our days are rushed out to meet the deadlines.Poor betatesting(the Gothic3 betatest team had exactly two weeks to seeif the game wrks properly, which is clearly not enough, as Gothic 3 is a huge game), patches released in the first day of sells, other ptaches who are getting out on over a year period. Me, I would rather prefer to see the games released later, but with a lot less bugged. I'm starting to tire being a non-paid beta-tester for the game companies. It's disrespect towards the customer who's paying for the product.I don't care much of the release date of a game, but I do care about a bug free game and getting the most from the product that I bought. And I'm sure that most of the veterans are feeling the same(in the early nineties, the cracks were few and rare and you wouldn't see a first day patch).Insane deadlines brought this on us(the KOTOR team had only a year to complete a huge game and the final product had alot of untied stories and lots of bugs). Hope that things will change and the companies will start to care about the quality of their products and not about how to get it out faster...

I won´t download any file I see somewhere in the net. I just noticed a big diffenrence in the file sizes comparing the release upped at the gcw and the ind-release I saw somewhere out there. So I just gave the hint that there might be another crack - nothing more nothing less.
