i don't mean to interupt any of the debating, however i was wondering if anyone could shed some light on a weird issue i'm having. since no one else is mentioning it i'll assume i'm one of the only ones experiencing it.

I can run the game mounted on daemon, the problem is that the words are all in senseless symbols for the font. menus, ingame, everything is illegable.

any ideas what the f has happened?

Does that happen with using the original?

If not, it could be that the protection has detected your emulation software/mounted images.

i appreciate the info, however i can't seem to get away from this issue with daemon 4, sd4hide, or anti-blaxx.

what can i do to get around such detection so that i can read my menus?

To me, it more sounds that you had some MOD installed (in CustomAssets folder) and it's incompatible with version 1.61.

Read DABhand's post again (especially the first sentence).

No problems with this game, just run it though daemon tools and disable your real DVD rom from the drive tools menu. Shabang, works with all version.
