Still getting the same error like marinez. tried changing "MessagesFile: .\Languages" value and its still the same.

Just few seconds and it stops.

yener90 07-03-2012 03:30

ignore those language errors!
its because some text not translated to every language.
it also not required in the setup ;).

Code:

;#define ProgramFiles "F:\New folder"
-> delete just the sign ';' in front of and change "F:\New folder" to your game folder.
then it should work fine.

for me looks like this:
Code:

#define ProgramFiles "F:\Program Files (x86)\EA Games\Mass Effect 3"

guys, i just compiled the 14 version, the one i uploaded to here, and it compiled without errors.

You will edit your installed game location that's all, do not touch nor play with conversion.

So, if you'll excuse me i'm going to enjoy with my Boxed Collector Edition of ME3.

leslietwk 07-03-2012 03:41

Hah! Finally started! 1:20 to go. Thanks for the help.

that little ; sign effects the whole thing.

Thanks yener90! You made me day!

leslietwk 07-03-2012 03:47

marinez: I added a \ at the end of folder name.

"F:\Program Files (x86)\EA Games\Mass Effect 3"

to

"F:\Program Files (x86)\EA Games\Mass Effect 3\"

:D

But shouldn't make a difference in unicode right..?

yener90 07-03-2012 03:51

no difference :D

marinez
ignore them XD
compiler tells you that some lines are not in in some language and therefore uses the english texts. thats all, not an error.

leslietwk 07-03-2012 03:59

marinez

I am guessing your path to the installed folder is not correct.

Thank you everyone for help.

i got this error when i try to install:

EDIT:
fix now, i put setup.cab; setup.exe; setup.ico; setup.ini (ME3_V14_REVO.rar) and now work fine.....sorry

EmperadorCAD 07-03-2012 19:52

Hey, what are the attached files I have to put on the first DVD?
Because I think I have some files that are of more.
The autorun.ini does not automatically open the first DVD,
this is the REVO code:

[autorun]
OPEN = 0
ICON = Setup.ico

Maybe I should be specifically targeted to some other file?

Thx, bye. Sorry for my English. :D

zyo 07-03-2012 20:21

I have a 32bit of windows 7 and the installer attempts to install 64bit of libs which results an error page. Is there anyway to make it install the proper version based?

Edit the PATH correctly to where you have game installed, FIRST line in ISS script, REMOVE the ; from front of line...
#define ProgramFiles "F:\New folder\"

Look at the bottom of Setup.ini under [LauncherSettings]
anything that relates to X64version = 0 X86=1

EmperadorCAD 08-03-2012 00:25

Thx pakrat2k2, it works OK. Now I have another problem:mad:
with the installation menu shows me symbols instead of
letters. Any ideas? I hope not to annoy, the language
of the installer is in Spanish. Thx. :)
