i'd love 2 race u but... unfortunatly i still havent gotten past the cd key error... of course i could play with my ORIGINAL CD/DVD but its 2 dangerous. My DVD could get a scratch or something :) so ill just wait untill someone can help me... :(

if you try (or able?) to understand what did i say, you wouldn't bla bla like that. first of all it is not expensive then gold, where do you live? dubai?

secondly the cd or dvd rom drive doesn't hurt your cd. İt is not made of saws and twists! so the point is: even buying a second original release instead of crying that "waaaa, where is the fixed exe?!?!??!",is much simple and rationale in this case!

p.s. this is a useless sh*t too. but only for your brain!

@Sirrus: If you had children, you'd know that scratches, made by the CD/DVD-ROM drive, are not the worst problem! ;) (No, I don't have children but many other forum members, including some of the moderators, do.) And, yes, dede is right: in most countries and for most games, you have the right to make a backup, to protect your investment (whether 10 cents or 50 dollars, it doesn't matter). If you don't understand this, I wonder why you're using GCW or FileForums...

no, you get it wrong. i didn't say that "why do you people using no-cd cracks & back up your originals??"

i said that "why do you people prefer to unplug your cables for playing your game with a copy instead of using your original??"

my main questioning is why bother so much to play 4 or 5 SF protected game? for evading from the risk of scratches? if the materials of computers -such as discs- are so sensitive it is more risky to unplugging ide cables from your computer. My old PIII 450 has problems on its ide slots on motherboard. Because of rapid ide cable replacements. it recognizes HDs randomly...

i have finished GT Legends from my original instead of waiting on this post (this is the difference).

backing up is an important thing, i know this. by reconsidering that discs have a limited lifetime and take damages even from air, backing up is priceless for a collector, like me. so i can't dare to criticize the back up is legal or not, needed or not. but i think (hope) i explain that i am mentioning about something different than that..

Sorry the BAD ENGLISH, but i`ll do my best :D

GLT runs at my PC fine, with all cables conected, no probs.
I would like to know if i can reduce the size of image making a mini image, because the game stays twice in hards disk.:(

for me too, it's fine working.
i have xp sp2, i installed with daemon 4, rmps emulation activated. Updated the sf driver.
i installed sfcure, ran start.bat, etc, but don't think in the same order as specified. I ran sfn and disabled much things.
the game refused to start, saying to put the disc in another drive.
i rebooted the system, unplugged secondary ide, and then the game starts in a few seconds, not starting sfcure anymore, just mounting the image with rmps.
a friend of mines is still trying without result. Why ? don't understand.

Can anyone help me with GT Legends cos my sfn dose not disable my cd rom & dvd rom i. I have done every thing it says do but it stil not working please
can someone help :mad: :confused: :mad: ive re install my windows about 5 times this iz my setup if it helps
