@ mick14:

WHAT FILE do I have to set to "Compatibility for Windows 2000"? And where can I set that configuration?
By the way, my operating system is "Windows XP - Home Edition (SP1)".

That would be the main game executable. Right-click on it, and press properties. There should be a tab there entitled compatibility. Check the use compatibilty, select Win2k, & ok out.

It won't run for me either. I've tried all the suggestions and now that I don't have the original discs in my hands anymore, I'll have to wait for a NO CD Crack...

Thanks anyway...

Mini-Image

Please...
For the mini-image released by GameCopyWorld, is there anybody who can play the game?
I've tried everything but still can't play...
So much talking about full image, mini image, blaxx, hide cd... it's becoming confuse...
Thanks.

tell us what you have tried so we have some clue ware you are :)

Can someone re-post step by step how to make this game works with mini-image? it's so confusing

This is what i've done

- Install game
- Install Anti-blakk (got it from GCW)
- Run Virtual Hide CD (Hide virtual drive)
- Set motogp.exe compatibility to win 2000
- Mount mini-image in Daemon
- Run Anti-blakk (set it like Henry's said)

Results: Out of memory

If I don't run Virtual Hide CD then I got an error message

Is there anything wrong??

2 virtual drives

I've created 2 virtual drives with Daemon Tool, load full image in one, and the mini-image in the the other.
Run VirtualCdHide and hide all.
Put the exe in windows 2000 compatibility mode and run it.

It's working ! :D

Quick Fix for MotoGP3

If you are getting this message "A REQUIRED SECURITY MODULE CAN NOT BE ACTIVATED. THIS PROGRAM CAN NOT BE EXECUTED"

In The Registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, SOFTWARE, THQ, MOTOGP3

Make sure that the key is set to point to your "Virtual Drive", not your existing
optical drive.. Just change the drive letter to match your virtual drive.

Also make sure you have changed Compatibility mode for the MOTOGP3 .exe
to run under "Windows 2000".

Anti-Blaxx and Virtual-CD-hide if run together cause an error.
It is overkill anyway to run them both.

I did everything you said here with virtualcdhide and mount the image with alchohol.
The game starts and everything ok. my problem starts when i try to race, a message pop up comes and says insert original disc.
Any help is much appreciated.

It's not complicate, you try to run with full image and it work proper. :)
You try to run with mini image and it dosn't work  !
:o simple conclusion : the mini image is good for the recycler!
 no more comment's.
have fun play a other game if it's to complicate or use original CD. :D

This one was covered, you need to change the drive letter in the registry, from the CD/DVD to the virtual drives one.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\THQ\MotoGP3\CDPath

OK if you got a big harddrive for all your 'full' images, I'd sooner run from the back-up disk I have created and 'works' than a big image.

Is anyone actually running the game from the mini image from GCW ? Please let us know as I've done everything and the game won't run from it. thanks
