Now can anyone tell me how to switch the language from German to English? I noticed 2 files called de.pak and en.pak, are they seperate language files? Also to intall this nodvd you have to install the patch first then overwrite the .exe files that comes with it. the password to extract the .rar is:

Proper NO-DVD FIXED EXE
 

Yesterday VOLKSWAGEN released a proper NO-DVD FIXED EXE for "Codename Panzers - Phase Two V1.06".
Now the whole game can be played in german!
With this file the game language DOES NOT switch to italian language anymore!

As already said the NO-DVD FIXED EXE from SiLENTGATE does not work correctly! The game language switches from german to italian during the game!

VOLKSWAGEN have released a proper NO-DVD FIXED EXE for it, that works a 100%! I've uploaded the file to GCW:

"Codename.Panzers.Phase.Two.v1.06.REAL.PROPER.READ. NFO-VOLKSWAGEN.rar"

yeah some people have probs with the SiLENTGATE Release...:(
i, for myself, have no problems at the moment with this release but it could be good to put the VOLKSWAGEN (*lol* great name...) Release on the site for German users...

I cannot open the Winrar file . . . . :mad:

So if you have problem with Language, simple edit the file GAME.INI [Paths]
like this:

[Paths]
Search = .\en ! <- you can edit to your LOCALE (EN,DE,IT,HU etc.)
Search Base = .
Home = .
Locale = en ! <- you can edit to your LOCALE (EN,DE,IT,HU etc.)

e.g. if you have the language pack on the \RUN path as XX.PAK, edit the
two lines begin SEARCH = .\XX and LOCALE = XX
I guess this trick works for all MULTILANGUAGE in this game...

Are you talking about this: Codename Panzers 2 v1.06 [ENGLISH/GERMAN/ITALIAN] No-DVD/Fixed EXE (05-12-2005, SiLENTGATE)? I grabbed it from mirror #3 and it unRAR's fine. You're using the very latest version of WinRAR, right?!
