The island is called Mal-Orc-A (Mallorca) and it's "where cheaters get sent".
Previous cracks have had the NFO file say that the game contained triggers. Apparently this is one of them. Same thing happened in a lot of games with triggers (with different effects).
Oh well. We'll have to wait some more then.

I have had the same problems, with this games.
I have the german version, got it to work, but i can't solve any subquests (all enemies are on this island), and when i go in a portal i am on this island ( it has a 6 shown by stones on the ground, espacially the german members this should be a hint)!!!

I'm still waiting for an official patch that'll let Sacred recognize my original CD again, so never mind. No time for gaming, anyway ;)

On the official German Sacred homepage, they're already offering beta versions of the upcoming patch. So it shouldn't take long until this crack is outdated.

IMSDOX did not provide instructions on the use of its 1.5 crack in the included .nfo. I assumed (incorrectly?!) that the included Sacred.ims(.exe) file was for those warez users who needed the original .exe to patch the game.

However, after reading posts about the base.dll file included in previous cracks I decided to reapply the crack--this time including the Sacred.ims file in the game folder. So far I've been able to play w/o problems.

If I'm guessing correctly, the inclusion of the original .exe file even with a different file extension will fool the game into thinking the original .exe file is being used.

Anyone else tried this crack with success or failure?

maybe there somethin in the cracked exe that searches for the orig exe which is renamed to sacred.ims

Wait... I dont understand what did You do. You change .ims to .exe?!

nope m8, just copy across all the files... the sacred.exe, sacred.ims and the granny.dll into your game folder

??? .ims it is probably "images". This file cheat protections. I thought that iMSDOX made some error in crack but now I see that everything is ok.

the .ims is the original exe. it has been renamed from sacred.exe to sacred.ims

I copied all files to my game folder, after applied the patch, before rwdrex said this...
But i had my problems...

all i did was update the game, then copied across all the files to the game folder.
Maybe you may need to uninstall and then reinstall it and try again.

i keep back up of the original files for updating, before replacing them with the cracked ones

Can anyone who plays the german versoin and who applied this patch and the crack tell me if he has problems?

kaioshin - try orginal german exe rename into .ims but I dont know that it will be works.
